51. CONCEPT, TYPES AND TASKS OF INTERROGATION. PREPARATION FOR INTERROGATION
Interrogation - investigative action, which consists in the fact that an authorized official receives and records, in the manner prescribed by law, the testimony of victims, witnesses, suspects, accused, experts about the facts known to them that are relevant to the criminal case.
Purpose of interrogation - Obtaining complete and truthful information about the circumstances relevant to the criminal case.
Interrogation tasks:
1) general - establishing the absolute truth in a criminal case;
2) private - the establishment of individual circumstances included in the subject of proof.
Interrogation types:
1) according to the procedural position of the interrogated:
a) interrogation of a witness;
b) interrogation of the victim;
c) interrogation of the suspect;
d) interrogation of the accused;
e) interrogation of the defendant;
f) interrogation of an expert;
2) according to the age of the person being interrogated:
a) interrogation of an adult;
b) interrogation of a minor;
c) interrogation of a minor;
3) according to the composition of participants:
a) without the participation of third parties;
b) with the participation of a defense lawyer, expert, specialist, prosecutor, head of the investigative department, teacher, parents, translator, legal representatives of a minor;
4) in order of interrogation of a person:
a) initial;
b) repeated;
5) by volume:
a) main;
b) additional;
6) at the place of interrogation:
a) in the investigator's office (in the courtroom);
b) in a different place;
7) by the nature of the investigative situation:
a) in a conflict situation;
b) in a non-conflict situation;
8) based on the personal position of the interrogated:
a) interrogation of a person giving truthful testimony;
b) interrogation of a person who knowingly gives false testimony.
Types of preparation for interrogation:
1) forensic:
a) careful study of the materials of the criminal case;
b) determination of the circumstances to be clarified;
c) study of the identity of the interrogated person;
d) studying the relationship of the interrogated person with other participants in the process;
e) preparation of evidence;
f) determining the sequence of interrogations and the method of calling the interrogated;
g) choice of place and time of interrogation;
h) preparation of the place of interrogation and scientific and technical means for recording testimony;
i) creating the necessary environment for interrogation;
j) drawing up an interrogation plan. In its simplest form, this is just a list of questions to ask;
k) determination of the circle of participants in the interrogation. Persons who are not interested in the outcome of the interrogation are interrogated first;
l) choosing the method of summoning a person for interrogation (by subpoena, telephone call or otherwise);
2) special:
a) familiarization with special literature;
b) conversations with specialists;
3) psychological - determining the tone and sequence of questions asked, the procedure for presenting material evidence and other materials.

The existence of an entropy rule for quantum entanglement has been proven
09.05.2024
Quantum mechanics continues to amaze us with its mysterious phenomena and unexpected discoveries. Recently, Bartosz Regula from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and Ludovico Lamy from the University of Amsterdam presented a new discovery that concerns quantum entanglement and its relation to entropy. Quantum entanglement plays an important role in modern quantum information science and technology. However, the complexity of its structure makes understanding and managing it challenging. Regulus and Lamy's discovery shows that quantum entanglement follows an entropy rule similar to that for classical systems. This discovery opens new perspectives in the field of quantum information science and technology, deepening our understanding of quantum entanglement and its connection to thermodynamics. The results of the study indicate the possibility of reversibility of entanglement transformations, which could greatly simplify their use in various quantum technologies. Opening a new rule ... >>

Energy from space for Starship
08.05.2024
Producing solar energy in space is becoming more feasible with the advent of new technologies and the development of space programs. The head of the startup Virtus Solis shared his vision of using SpaceX's Starship to create orbital power plants capable of powering the Earth. Startup Virtus Solis has unveiled an ambitious project to create orbital power plants using SpaceX's Starship. This idea could significantly change the field of solar energy production, making it more accessible and cheaper. The core of the startup's plan is to reduce the cost of launching satellites into space using Starship. This technological breakthrough is expected to make solar energy production in space more competitive with traditional energy sources. Virtual Solis plans to build large photovoltaic panels in orbit, using Starship to deliver the necessary equipment. However, one of the key challenges ... >>
Random news from the Archive Smartphone Huawei Ascend P7
13.05.2014
Huawei unveiled its new flagship smartphone at a press conference in Paris, replacing the Ascend P6, introduced last June.
When announcing the Ascend P6 last year, the company called it the thinnest smartphone in the world. The new Ascend P7 cannot boast of the same - on the contrary, its thickness has become a little more. It is 6,5 mm versus 6,18 mm for the previous model. The novelty is similar to the model of the previous year, but differs from it in a number of ways. The screen has been enlarged from 4,7 to 5 inches, the front and back panels are made of Gorilla Glass 3, while the back of the P6 uses an aluminum cover.
The Ascend P7's display resolution is 1920 x 1080 pixels, giving it a resolution of 441 ppi (versus 1280 x 720 pixels and 312 ppi on last year's model). The clock frequency of the processor has increased - from 1,5 to 1,8 GHz (chip from HiSilicon), and the amount of internal memory has increased from 8 to 16 GB (with the continued support for microSD memory cards).
The battery capacity has increased by 500 mAh to 2500 mAh. In addition, the new smartphone has got a new energy-saving mode, like in the Samsung Galaxy S5: it makes the screen monochrome and disables all secondary functions. Improvements have also been made to the camera. Its resolution has increased from 8 to 13 megapixels. The device uses a back-illuminated sensor and a 5-element lens with f/2.0 aperture.
In Ascend P7, the front camera resolution has been increased to 8 megapixels compared to 5 megapixels in the previous model. This is done so that users can get better "selfies". Finally, another important change is the availability of support for 4G LTE technology in the new flagship.
Huawei Ascend P7 will go on sale with preinstalled Android 4.4 KitKat OS and Huawei Emotion 2.3 graphical shell, in white, black and pink. Sales in Europe are scheduled to launch in early June at a price of 449 euros. Also in June, the novelty will enter the markets of Asia and the Middle East.
