The nursery is usually the smallest room in the apartment. The rational use of its area is especially acute for parents when another child appears in the family. In particular, when my youngest son went to the first grade, he thought about where to place the second workplace.

Two traditional desks obviously did not fit in the room, and I had to develop a hinged structure consisting of two secretary cabinets with folding tops, between which there is also a wardrobe and a shelf.

Each of the lockers-secretaries consists of the actual cabinet, countertop and folding support. For the manufacture of all parts, chipboards with a thickness of 15 ... 20 mm were used. I recommend making a folding support to make it easier from a hollow slab, consisting of a frame (bars with a section of 20x40 mm) and cladding (plywood 3 ... 5 mm thick).

The tabletop is hung on the cabinet with a piano hinge; the folding support is connected to the tabletop with the same loop. In the closed (non-working) position, the tabletop is held by a magnetic latch.

The front and inner surfaces of the structure are pasted over with a decorative film (under the tree).
