25. PARTIES TO THE DONATION AGREEMENT
Hand in the donation agreement are called donor (in the donation agreement - by the donor and the philanthropist) and donee (in the donation agreement - by the beneficiary).
All subjects of civil law can act as parties, however, the state can be donee only in a donation agreement, and commercial organizations cannot be either donors or donee. For some subjects, the law imposes certain requirements or restrictions.
The donor must:
▪ have a proprietary right to the thing transferred under the contract;
▪ be legally capable;
▪ obtain consent for donation from certain persons in the following cases:
a) a legal entity that owns a thing on a limited real right (the right of economic management or operational management) must obtain the consent of its owner (clause 1 of article 576 of the Civil Code);
b) a spouse who wants to donate property that is the common property of the spouses must obtain consent from the other spouse (paragraph 2 of article 576 of the Civil Code);
c) minors aged 6 to 14 must obtain consent to give small gifts from their legal representatives;
d) minors aged 14 to 18 must obtain written consent from their parents or guardians (this provision does not apply to small gifts - paragraph 2 of article 26, paragraph 2 of article 28 of the Civil Code).
Restrictions regarding subjects acting as donee:
▪ entities that can act as beneficiaries in a donation agreement can be charitable organizations, medical and educational institutions, etc.;
▪ subjects who are prohibited from giving, except for giving ordinary gifts worth no more than 3 thousand rubles;
▪ on behalf of minors and citizens declared incompetent, their legal representatives;
▪ employees of medical, educational institutions, social protection institutions and other similar institutions, citizens receiving treatment, support or education there, spouses and relatives of these citizens;
▪ civil servants and employees of municipal bodies, employees of the Bank of Russia in connection with their official position or in connection with the performance of their official duties;
▪ in relations between commercial organizations.

The existence of an entropy rule for quantum entanglement has been proven
09.05.2024
Quantum mechanics continues to amaze us with its mysterious phenomena and unexpected discoveries. Recently, Bartosz Regula from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and Ludovico Lamy from the University of Amsterdam presented a new discovery that concerns quantum entanglement and its relation to entropy. Quantum entanglement plays an important role in modern quantum information science and technology. However, the complexity of its structure makes understanding and managing it challenging. Regulus and Lamy's discovery shows that quantum entanglement follows an entropy rule similar to that for classical systems. This discovery opens new perspectives in the field of quantum information science and technology, deepening our understanding of quantum entanglement and its connection to thermodynamics. The results of the study indicate the possibility of reversibility of entanglement transformations, which could greatly simplify their use in various quantum technologies. Opening a new rule ... >>

Users can easily adjust the temperature using a dedicated mobile app connected via Bluetooth. Additionally, specially designed T-shirts and shorts are available for convenience, to which a mini air conditioner can be attached. The device can oh ... >>
Energy from space for Starship
08.05.2024
Producing solar energy in space is becoming more feasible with the advent of new technologies and the development of space programs. The head of the startup Virtus Solis shared his vision of using SpaceX's Starship to create orbital power plants capable of powering the Earth. Startup Virtus Solis has unveiled an ambitious project to create orbital power plants using SpaceX's Starship. This idea could significantly change the field of solar energy production, making it more accessible and cheaper. The core of the startup's plan is to reduce the cost of launching satellites into space using Starship. This technological breakthrough is expected to make solar energy production in space more competitive with traditional energy sources. Virtual Solis plans to build large photovoltaic panels in orbit, using Starship to deliver the necessary equipment. However, one of the key challenges ... >>
Random news from the Archive XNUMXD semiconductor processor
11.11.2020
Swiss engineers have developed a computer chip of a fundamentally new type, which implements data storage and processing functions inside a single two-dimensional layer of molybdenum sulfide. This will allow you to create more compact, faster and more energy efficient devices.
Until now, the energy efficiency of computer chips has been limited by the currently used von Neumann architecture, in which data processing and storage are performed in two separate blocks. This means that data must be constantly transferred between two devices, which requires a significant amount of time and energy.
Engineers at the EPFL's Laboratory for Nanoscale Electronics and Structures have developed a revolutionary technology that uses 2D material to create a single architecture that combines logic operations with memory function.
By combining two blocks into a single semiconductor layer, the authors have achieved a significant reduction in energy losses, which is especially important for applications based on artificial intelligence.
The microcircuit is made of molybdenum sulfide MoS2, a two-dimensional material consisting of a layer only three atoms thick. EPFL engineers studied the specific properties of MoS2 a few years ago and found it to be an excellent semiconductor for electronic applications.
Scientists have created on its basis a chip on field-effect transistors with a floating gate. Commonly used in the flash memory systems of cameras, smartphones and computers, these transistors have the advantage of being able to hold electrical charges for long periods of time.
Molybdenum sulfide's unique electrical properties make it especially sensitive to charges stored in field-effect transistors, allowing EPFL engineers to create circuits that function both as memory devices and as programmable transistors.
