INTERNATIONAL CONFLICT

Interethnic or interstate conflict - противоречия, возникающие между государствами, нациями, коалициями государств и влияющие на большое количество людей и международные отношения в целом.

Specifics of interstate conflicts: конфликт, возникший между двумя государствами, своими последствиями несет опасность и для других государств; межгосударственные конфликты формируют международные отношения в мире; межнациональный конфликт является следствием неверной политики участвующих в противоборстве государств.

The nature of the interests defended in interstate conflicts:

▪ ideology, discrepancy between the socio-political systems of states;

▪ the desire for dominance, both local and global;

▪ economic interests;

▪ territorial preferences or preservation of territorial boundaries;

▪ religious interests that influence the status of the state.

Причины межгосударственных конфликтов многообразны, могут иметь субъективный и объективный характер.

In every ethnic conflict there are: основные причины; сопутствующие; усиливающие или возникающие уже в ходе конфликта.

На этапе создания независимых государств и установления их границ часто не учитываются многие параметры: наличие культурных общин, этносов, исторических и природных характеристик местности, все это обостряет международные отношения и провоцирует конфликты. Иногда межгосударственные конфликты происходят военным способом. Например, война между Iran и Iraq за территориальные пространства государств.

При возникновении внутриполитического конфликта некоторые страны начинают вмешиваться в дела конфликтного государства, стремясь урегулировать противоречия и снизить политическую и общественную напряженность (например, вмешательство of Russia into politics Iraq ).

Конфликты внутри государства приводят к межнациональным столкновениям и без участия других государств. Это происходит в связи с негативным влиянием внутриполитических конфликтов на положение государства на международной арене.

Possible actions to resolve interstate conflicts:

1) создание транснациональных систем в культурных, политических, экономических и других значимых сферах общества;

2) соблюдение государствами принципа мирного сосуществования и признание различных вариантов развития общества и нации;

3) доминирование в сфере правового регулирования взаимоотношений государств международных организаций, обеспечивающих мировую безопасность;

4) сокращение вооружений и введение запретов по созданию оружия массового поражения.

Men spread negative information less often than women 18.11.2023

A recent study conducted by a collaboration between Carnegie Mellon University, Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) and Bocconi University reveals gender bias in information sharing.

The findings reveal unexpected gender differences in how people share information, highlighting the importance of understanding these differences to better understand the social and psychological implications of the digital age.

Scientists have found that men tend to spread negative news more often than women. While the difference in the exchange of positive news was insignificant.

Experts suggest that this may be due to the fact that men are more concerned about their image in the eyes of others, which pushes them to promote themselves. By revealing positive information, they strive to create the impression of optimistic and confident individuals.

The study included more than a thousand participants in three different experiments. In one study, participants reported times when they felt like sharing information and found that men were less likely to share negative news. Other experiments confirmed this trend.

In addition, it became clear that women derive more pleasure from disclosing information about themselves, while men tend to hide their thoughts and feelings.

Professor Irene Scopelliti from Bayes Business School (formerly Cass) highlights that in the digital age, information sharing is becoming more common and ongoing, and gender differences may have an impact on the social and psychological aspects of information sharing.
