9. Development of Russia after the Time of Troubles. Peasant war led by Stepan Razin

After the Time of Troubles and the economic crisis, Russia had to restore the destroyed economy. Agriculture remained subsistence. Only a small part of the production was sold on the market. There were several forms of exploitation of the peasantry: corvée, natural and cash dues.

Handicrafts developed actively. Wage labor began to be used in large craft workshops. The all-Russian market was formed.

One after another, uprisings broke out:

1) 1648-1650 - uprisings swept over 20 cities of Russia;

2) 1650 BC - a riot in Pskov and Novgorod, in which archers also took part;

3) 1666 BC - copper riot in Moscow. It began due to the fact that the government began to mint worthless copper money instead of silver.

Causes of the peasant war:

1) strengthening of autocracy;

2) the growth of the state apparatus;

3) increase in the tax burden;

4) enslavement of peasants, etc.

The flight of the peasants, their attack on the feudal lords, numerous urban uprisings were the prerequisites for the peasant war.

В 1666 BC A campaign of Cossacks led by ataman Vasily Us from the Don through Voronezh to Tula took place. This campaign stirred up the masses. AT 1667 Stepan Razin made trips to the Volga and Lik, and in 1668-1669 - across the Caspian Sea to Persia. In the summer of 1669, moving along the western coast of the Caspian Sea, Razin returned through Astrakhan to the Don to the Kagalnitsky town.

В 1669-1670 Stenka Razin's uprising grew into a peasant war. It was headed by Stepan Razin, Vasily Us and Fedor Sheludyak.

Lettom 1670 BC the rebels occupied the entire lower and middle reaches of the Volga from Astrakhan to Simbirsk. It was not possible to take Simbirsk: in the battle, Razin's detachments were defeated, and he himself was wounded and captured (executed summer 1671). The rebels were finally defeated only by November 1671when Astrakhan was taken. The reasons for the defeat of Razin consisted in the spontaneity of his movement, fragmentation in the troops, disorganization and the complete absence of a program of action.

Latest news of science and technology, new electronics:

The existence of an entropy rule for quantum entanglement has been proven 09.05.2024

Quantum mechanics continues to amaze us with its mysterious phenomena and unexpected discoveries. Recently, Bartosz Regula from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and Ludovico Lamy from the University of Amsterdam presented a new discovery that concerns quantum entanglement and its relation to entropy. Quantum entanglement plays an important role in modern quantum information science and technology. However, the complexity of its structure makes understanding and managing it challenging. Regulus and Lamy's discovery shows that quantum entanglement follows an entropy rule similar to that for classical systems. This discovery opens new perspectives in the field of quantum information science and technology, deepening our understanding of quantum entanglement and its connection to thermodynamics. The results of the study indicate the possibility of reversibility of entanglement transformations, which could greatly simplify their use in various quantum technologies. Opening a new rule ... >>

Energy from space for Starship 08.05.2024

Producing solar energy in space is becoming more feasible with the advent of new technologies and the development of space programs. The head of the startup Virtus Solis shared his vision of using SpaceX's Starship to create orbital power plants capable of powering the Earth. Startup Virtus Solis has unveiled an ambitious project to create orbital power plants using SpaceX's Starship. This idea could significantly change the field of solar energy production, making it more accessible and cheaper. The core of the startup's plan is to reduce the cost of launching satellites into space using Starship. This technological breakthrough is expected to make solar energy production in space more competitive with traditional energy sources. Virtual Solis plans to build large photovoltaic panels in orbit, using Starship to deliver the necessary equipment. However, one of the key challenges ... >>

Hybrid ATV Krampus 24.04.2022

Lithuanian automakers have announced a new all-terrain vehicle (ATV) Krampus Mk1 to perform manned, semi-manned, remotely controlled and autonomous missions on the battlefield.

The hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system in silent mode provides a covert approach to the mission area, where a crew of two can dismount and independently direct the vehicle to forward firing positions.

The Krampus Mk1 is designed for a 500-kilogram payload, which can include remotely controlled anti-tank systems, killer drone launch systems, or anti-aircraft weapons systems. After completing the fire mission, the Krampus ATV must return to pick up its crew and continue the manned mission.

The designers of the Krampus Mk1 ATV also envision the use of vehicles in non-military areas such as border security, law enforcement, environmental control, mining - any scenario where the mission may require autonomous or remotely controlled operations for extended periods of time or operation in hazardous environments. .

Ostara has already reached level 6 of technological readiness for the Krampus ATV project. Last year, the development team completed the field test phase and made the necessary corrections and improvements to the vehicle's systems and subsystems. Earlier this year, technological solutions were introduced that provide remote and autonomous control of the vehicle.

Krampus Mk1 has a built-in diesel generator and a powerful battery that provides a range of 1000 km. In silent mode, when the two electric motors are powered only by the battery, the range of the car can reach 200 km. The company says the Krampus Mk1 ATV demonstrator has already laid the groundwork for the start of the next Krampus Mk2 prototype.
