17. General characteristics of the historical period of the XV-XVII centuries

General characteristics of the historical period

From the middle of the XII to the end of the XV centuries. there was a period of feudal fragmentation in the country.

Causes of feudal fragmentation:

1) the development of feudal agriculture, as well as the formation of a new boyars - estates;

2) weak economic ties between different regions of the country;

3) urban growth;

4) the boyars, interested in a closer and more effective power of the local prince;

5) the fall of the economic and political influence of Kyiv.

February 27, 1425 - the death of Vasily I Dmitrievich, who ruled from 1389-1425. At this time, the feudal war begins.

1480 BC - the overthrow of the Mongol-Tatar yoke.

1549 BC - The First Zemsky Sobor was convened - a new body of power dealing with the most important state affairs up to the election of a new king.

1530-1584 - the years of the life of Ivan the Terrible.

1565 BC - issued a decree on oprichnina. The oprichnina was beneficial in that the tsar could replenish the treasury, the army, and also expand his possessions.

1589 BC - the introduction of the patriarchy.

1598-1605 - Board of Boris Godunov.

June 20, 1605 - False Dmitry I entered Moscow.

This time in the history of Russia was called the Troubles.

Troubles - this is a civil war that pitted different classes: nobles, townspeople, boyars, serfs, peasants.

1613 g - the beginning of the reign of the first of the Romanov family - Mikhail Fedorovich Romanov.

At this time, new features appear in the Russian economy:

1) the emergence of manufactories, which led to the onset of the era of capitalism;

2) the increasing importance of fairs in domestic trade;

3) formation of the internal market, specialization of regions;

4) there is an elimination of the natural isolation of agriculture and its gradual involvement in market relations;

5) improvement of foreign trade;

6) manufactories serviced by the labor of serfs.

1649 g - Adoption of the Council Code.

In the XNUMXth century There is a split in the Russian Orthodox Church. This split was long overdue, since there were quite a lot of disagreements in church rituals and books. That is why the idea to put everything in order arises. The schism ended with the fact that the churchmen were divided into supporters of Nikon and supporters of Habakkuk. Nikon will lose in this confrontation.

The existence of an entropy rule for quantum entanglement has been proven 09.05.2024

Quantum mechanics continues to amaze us with its mysterious phenomena and unexpected discoveries. Recently, Bartosz Regula from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and Ludovico Lamy from the University of Amsterdam presented a new discovery that concerns quantum entanglement and its relation to entropy. Quantum entanglement plays an important role in modern quantum information science and technology. However, the complexity of its structure makes understanding and managing it challenging. Regulus and Lamy's discovery shows that quantum entanglement follows an entropy rule similar to that for classical systems. This discovery opens new perspectives in the field of quantum information science and technology, deepening our understanding of quantum entanglement and its connection to thermodynamics. The results of the study indicate the possibility of reversibility of entanglement transformations, which could greatly simplify their use in various quantum technologies. Opening a new rule ... >>

Energy from space for Starship 08.05.2024

Producing solar energy in space is becoming more feasible with the advent of new technologies and the development of space programs. The head of the startup Virtus Solis shared his vision of using SpaceX's Starship to create orbital power plants capable of powering the Earth. Startup Virtus Solis has unveiled an ambitious project to create orbital power plants using SpaceX's Starship. This idea could significantly change the field of solar energy production, making it more accessible and cheaper. The core of the startup's plan is to reduce the cost of launching satellites into space using Starship. This technological breakthrough is expected to make solar energy production in space more competitive with traditional energy sources. Virtual Solis plans to build large photovoltaic panels in orbit, using Starship to deliver the necessary equipment. However, one of the key challenges ... >>

Cartilage tissue in the joints is not updated throughout life 17.07.2016

Katja M. Heinemeier from the Center for Healthy Aging (Denmark) and her colleagues conducted a study of the human musculoskeletal system using radiocarbon dating. Researchers have come to the conclusion that our joints practically do not renew themselves with age. This means that developing new treatments for many joint diseases may be more difficult than previously thought.

In the new study, scientists used radiocarbon dating (a technique often used in archeology and forensics) to study changes in the human musculoskeletal system. Fifteen volunteers born in 1935-1997 took part in the project.

The methodological basis of the work was the fact that during the Cold War, nuclear bomb tests were actively carried out. Because of this, the level of carbon-14, which is absorbed by all living things from the atmosphere, has skyrocketed around the world. Thus, traces of this phenomenon can still be found in people who lived in the 1950s and 1960s.

Radiocarbon dating has already been used to determine the age of body fat, the lens of the eye and other body tissues. Now scientists have used it to assess the condition of cartilage. They saw that during a person's life, practically no new collagen is formed in the cartilage - even in individuals who are subjected to high physical exertion or who have undergone certain diseases.

The results of the work explain why cartilage is so difficult to heal after injuries and pose new challenges in the treatment of osteoarthritis and other joint diseases.
