Topic 88. Overdraft lending program

Overdraft lending is designed to promptly maintain the company's solvency in case of short-term delays in the receipt of funds to the current account (cash gaps).

The credit limit is set depending on the volume of receipts and the number of transactions on the current account; it is calculated as the average credit turnover for 3-5 days. Loans are provided in rubles and foreign currency. The minimum established limit is equivalent to 600 rubles.

The amount of an overdraft loan can be 10-30% from the average monthly volume of cash receipts to the enterprise’s current account with the Bank.

Advantages of this type of loan:

This type of loan does not require hard collateral. The basis for obtaining it is a stable turnover on the company's accounts.

The absolute value of interest on an overdraft loan compares favorably with interest accrued on term loans due to more efficient management of loan debt.

A preliminary decision on the possible amount of an overdraft loan and interest rates can be made on the basis of the company's turnover on its accounts in other banks.

It is possible to obtain a loan within a month after the start of the enterprise's work on the Bank's accounts.

During the term of the loan agreement, it is possible to recalculate the credit limit at the request of the borrower.

The repayment of the loan is carried out by the Bank without the participation of the Borrower, upon receipt of funds to the client's account.

Electrons tunnel through the barrier instantly 31.03.2019

An international team of scientists has found that particle tunneling through a potential barrier occurs instantaneously, and not after a finite time, as recent studies have shown.

During the experiment, physicists used hydrogen atoms. The time it takes electrons to tunnel was measured using an attoclock, a device that generates laser beams of a few attoseconds (10 to the minus 18th power of a second) and is able to calculate when electrons are released from an atom. A thousand ultrashort light pulses with a total power of 30 gigawatts interacted with hydrogen.

Although tunneling was originally thought to be instantaneous, recent studies using multi-electron atoms have shown that electrons travel through a potential barrier in a finite non-zero time. However, hydrogen atoms, which have one electron, have allowed more accurate measurements and calculations to be made to solve this mystery. The results of the experiment showed that the observed picture corresponds to the data obtained in the theoretical simulation of instantaneous tunneling.

The tunnel effect, which can be represented as the passage of an object through a wall, is observed in quantum systems and is impossible in classical mechanics. It lies in the fact that a particle can overcome a potential barrier without having enough energy to do so, due to the Heisenberg uncertainty relation. A potential barrier is a region of space that separates two other regions with different or identical potential energies.

Electron tunneling through an ultrathin barrier is the basic principle of operation of many modern electronic devices used in a wide variety of electronic devices (for example, gadgets). The new discovery will allow more accurate modeling of the processes occurring in them.
