70. ACCOUNTING FOR FOREIGN TRADE OPERATIONS: IMPORT OPERATIONS

Import operations. The main documents for processing import transactions are a passport and a dossier on an import transaction, a payment card, an accounting card for imported goods, a bank control statement and a report on transactions under import contracts.

For import operations currency funds can be purchased by the importing organization strictly against a certain payment in accordance with a specific transaction passport, and in the case of a deferred payment - a specific customs declaration. The currency purchased under the contract cannot be transferred by the importer under any other contract. Foreign currency purchased by a bank for a resident enterprise in the foreign exchange market and credited to its special transit currency account must be transferred to the supplier no later than 7 calendar days. If the debiting of the purchased currency from the special transit account is not carried out within this period, the currency is subject to resale.

Synthetic accounting settlements with suppliers of imported goods are carried out on account 60 "Settlements with suppliers and contractors". Analytical accounting of calculations is carried out for individual deliveries. Information on the purchase cost of imported goods is formed on account 15 "Procurement and acquisition of material assets"; the sub-accounts of this account reflect the movement of goods in transit, the costs of its delivery and customs clearance. Analytical accounting is conducted by suppliers, parties and types of goods.

Account entries transactions for the preliminary purchase of foreign currency for settlements on the import of goods: Dt 76, Kt 51; Dt 55-3, Kt 51; Dt 52-1-2, Kt 76; Room 44, Room 76; Dt 91-2, Kt 76.

Latest news of science and technology, new electronics:

The existence of an entropy rule for quantum entanglement has been proven 09.05.2024

Quantum mechanics continues to amaze us with its mysterious phenomena and unexpected discoveries. Recently, Bartosz Regula from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing and Ludovico Lamy from the University of Amsterdam presented a new discovery that concerns quantum entanglement and its relation to entropy. Quantum entanglement plays an important role in modern quantum information science and technology. However, the complexity of its structure makes understanding and managing it challenging. Regulus and Lamy's discovery shows that quantum entanglement follows an entropy rule similar to that for classical systems. This discovery opens new perspectives in the field of quantum information science and technology, deepening our understanding of quantum entanglement and its connection to thermodynamics. The results of the study indicate the possibility of reversibility of entanglement transformations, which could greatly simplify their use in various quantum technologies. Opening a new rule ... >>

Mini air conditioner Sony Reon Pocket 5 09.05.2024

Summer is a time for relaxation and travel, but often the heat can turn this time into an unbearable torment. Meet a new product from Sony - the Reon Pocket 5 mini-air conditioner, which promises to make summer more comfortable for its users. Sony has introduced a unique device - the Reon Pocket 5 mini-conditioner, which provides body cooling on hot days. With it, users can enjoy coolness anytime, anywhere by simply wearing it around their neck. This mini air conditioner is equipped with automatic adjustment of operating modes, as well as temperature and humidity sensors. Thanks to innovative technologies, Reon Pocket 5 adjusts its operation depending on the user's activity and environmental conditions. Users can easily adjust the temperature using a dedicated mobile app connected via Bluetooth. Additionally, specially designed T-shirts and shorts are available for convenience, to which a mini air conditioner can be attached. The device can oh ... >>

Energy from space for Starship 08.05.2024

Producing solar energy in space is becoming more feasible with the advent of new technologies and the development of space programs. The head of the startup Virtus Solis shared his vision of using SpaceX's Starship to create orbital power plants capable of powering the Earth. Startup Virtus Solis has unveiled an ambitious project to create orbital power plants using SpaceX's Starship. This idea could significantly change the field of solar energy production, making it more accessible and cheaper. The core of the startup's plan is to reduce the cost of launching satellites into space using Starship. This technological breakthrough is expected to make solar energy production in space more competitive with traditional energy sources. Virtual Solis plans to build large photovoltaic panels in orbit, using Starship to deliver the necessary equipment. However, one of the key challenges ... >>

Unguided satellite falls to Earth 22.10.2013

In early November, the next satellite will make an uncontrolled reentry into the atmosphere, its fragments can pose a danger to people and buildings.

According to the European Space Agency (ESA), on October 21, the fuel on the GOCE satellite, designed to study gravity, ran out of fuel. In about two weeks, it will enter the atmosphere and burn up almost entirely, but some parts will probably survive and crash to the surface of the planet. The place of a possible fall is still unknown, since the satellite is uncontrollable and its trajectory cannot yet be predicted. The Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee assures that the population of the threatened zone, ship crews and air traffic controllers will be alerted to a possible threat as soon as an accurate GOCE trajectory can be calculated.

GOCE (Gravity Field and Steady-State Ocean Circulation Explorer) has a length of 5 m and a diameter of more than 1 m, at the start it weighed 1052 kg, and now it is 41 kg lighter - the weight of fuel, xenon, for an ion engine. The ESA believes that some parts of the satellite will most likely not burn up in the atmosphere and will be able to reach the surface of our planet. Experts believe that GOCE is most likely to fall into the ocean, because 70% of the Earth is covered with water, but the risk of falling debris on densely populated regions cannot be ruled out.

The GOCE mission, launched in March 2009, was supposed to last only 2 years, but thanks to moderate solar activity, fuel was saved and the mission was extended. GOCE's initial estimated orbital altitude was 255 km. After completing the main tasks of the mission in mid-2012, the GOCE orbit was lowered to 224 kilometers in order to make more detailed measurements. The change of orbit and operation at a lower altitude led to the rapid consumption of fuel, as a result, the tanks were empty, and now the satellite is uncontrollable.
