Focus Description:

The magician asks the viewer to give his initials and writes them down on the corner of a small notebook. Everyone can make sure that there are no other inscriptions on the sheet.

The magician tears out a piece of paper from the notebook, folds it, places it under the handkerchief and invites one of the spectators to hold the note tightly through the handkerchief. Then he asks someone for a lottery ticket, folds it and places it under the second handkerchief.

The ticket is also held by another spectator through a handkerchief.

The magician orders the note and the ticket to switch places. Spectators unfold their scarves and see that the magician's order has been fulfilled. And on the note, where previously there were only the initials of the viewer, the ticket number is also written.

Focus secret:

For the demonstration, you need a lottery ticket, a small notebook and two handkerchiefs.

Prepare the notebook as follows: cut off the lower right corner from the top (first) sheet, the size of the cut section should be such that you can write initials on the next (second from the top) sheet.

On the second sheet, write the number and series of your pre-prepared ticket.

The paper in the notebook should be thick enough so that the inscription does not shine through. Put the notepad in the left pocket of your jacket.

Put the pre-folded ticket in the right pocket of your jacket, put a pencil in the same place. When you reach into your pocket for a pencil, you pull out the ticket, holding it between your fingers.

Open a notepad (the top sheet is facing you) and draw a bold line, as if outlining a place for writing initials along the edge of the corner. This feature masks the cut line.

Ask the viewer for initials and write them on the corner, and then show the viewer what you wrote. Turn the notebook towards you and tear out the second sheet, of course, with the inscription towards you. Fold the paper into a small square.

When you put your hand under the handkerchief, leave a ticket under it, and hide the note between your fingers.

Take the ticket from the viewer. You fold it, put your hand under the second handkerchief, leave a note under it, hide the ticket in your hand, and then transfer it to your pocket.

US Army polyethylene helmet 20.06.2018

The US Army is developing a new helmet for soldiers. It will be light, but that is why it is made not of Kevlar, but of polyethylene.

The new Second Generation Advanced Combat Helmet will be lighter than ever, while protecting the wearer from head injuries.
