  • hand cuts due to careless handling of laboratory glassware, cutting and stabbing tools;
  • poisoning by poisonous plants and poisonous substances of mushrooms.

1.4. The biology room should be equipped with a first aid kit with a set of necessary medicines and dressings in accordance with the Rules for first aid for injuries.

1.5. When working in the biology room, observe the fire safety rules, know the location of the primary fire extinguishing equipment. The biology cabinet should be equipped with primary fire extinguishing equipment: a foam and carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, a box with sand.

1.6. The victim or eyewitness of the accident must immediately inform the administration of the institution about each accident. In case of malfunction of equipment, fixtures and tools, stop work and inform the administration of the institution.

1.7. In the process of work, observe the rules of personal hygiene, keep the workplace clean.

1.8. Persons who have failed to comply with or violate the instructions on labor protection are subject to disciplinary liability in accordance with the internal labor regulations and, if necessary, are subjected to an extraordinary examination of knowledge of the norms and rules of labor protection.

2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. Prepare the necessary equipment, tools, preparations for work, check their serviceability, the integrity of laboratory glassware and glassware.

2.2. Thoroughly ventilate the biology room.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. The stay of students in the premises of the biology cabinet and in the laboratory is allowed only in the presence of a teacher (teacher) of biology.

3.2. Ensure the safe condition of workplaces for students, instruments, equipment, tools, storage of chemicals.

3.3. Glassware, piercing and cutting instruments, chemical reagents should be stored in the laboratory in lockable cabinets with blind doors without glass.

3.4. In the office, in a conspicuous place, instructions on labor protection for students should be posted when performing laboratory and practical work, when working at an educational and experimental site, and when conducting excursions in biology.

3.5. The office should not contain plants containing poisonous substances (oleander, spurge, etc.), as well as thorny plants.

3.6. It is forbidden to have and use electric heaters with an open coil.

3.7. When working with laboratory glassware, glassware, be careful not to press hard with your fingers on the fragile walls of test tubes, flasks. Handle slides and coverslips by the edges easily to avoid cutting your fingers.

3.8. When working with solid chemicals, collect them from jars with special plastic or porcelain spoons, do not allow acid and alkali solutions to get on the skin, eyes and clothes.

3.9. Do not drain spent chemical solutions into the sewer, use glass containers with a lid with a capacity of at least 3 liters to collect them.

Z.10. Do not wash laboratory glassware with soap as it becomes slippery and can be easily dropped and broken.

3.11. It is forbidden to use insecticides in the office to control insect pests of indoor plants.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In the event of a spill of a flammable liquid and its ignition, evacuate students from the biology room, report the fire to the administration of the institution and the nearest fire station, and proceed to extinguish the fire using primary fire extinguishing equipment.

4.2. In the event that laboratory glassware or glassware breaks, do not collect their fragments with unprotected hands, but use a brush and a dustpan for this purpose.

4.3. In case of injury, provide first aid to the victim and inform the administration of the institution, if necessary, send the victim to the nearest medical institution.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. Tidy up the workplace, put equipment, devices, tools, preparations, chemicals in the laboratory cabinets.

5.2. Pour the spent aqueous solutions of reagents into a resealable glass vessel with a capacity of at least XNUMXm with a lid for their subsequent destruction.

5.3. Ventilate the room and wash your hands thoroughly with soap.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

The future can influence the past 15.03.2023

In 2022, the Nobel Prize in Physics was awarded for experimental work that showed that the quantum world must break some of our fundamental ideas about how the universe works.

In the published article there is a statement that in order to preserve modern physics, science must admit the possibility of the influence of the future on the past. It may seem unusual, but in fact, scientists have been considering such an idea for a long time.

In modern physics, in particular in quantum mechanics, there are several strange phenomena that cannot be explained by ordinary physical laws. One of them is the measurement delay effect, when the mere fact of measurement can change the measurement result. This means that the very process of measurement affects what is being measured, and this is contrary to the usual understanding of physics.

Some scientists believe that this strange phenomenon may be due to the fact that the future can influence the past. According to this theory, measurement affects what happens in the future, and this in turn can affect what happened in the past.

It may sound strange, but many experiments confirm that quantum mechanics is contrary to the usual intuition and understanding of physics. Scientists offer different theories to explain these phenomena, and the possibility of the influence of the future on the past is one of them.

Of course, this does not mean that we can turn back time or change what happened in the past. It's just that this theory gives us a different perspective on how the world works and opens up new possibilities for further research. In particular, such an approach can help solve some problems in quantum computing based on the use of quantum phenomena.

In addition, the idea that the future can influence the past has practical applications. For example, it can help improve the accuracy of some instruments that measure physical quantities.

The influence of the future on the past proves that modern physics is not a complete science, and there is always room for new discoveries and research.
