2. Labor protection requirements before starting work

2.1. Before starting work, the flax fiber sorter must:

  • put on overalls and protective equipment. Button up sleeves and hems;
  • receive a work assignment from your immediate supervisor, instructions on the procedure for performing work and safe methods of execution;
  • check your workplace: make sure that it is sufficiently lit (illuminance of at least 300lm) and not cluttered. Check the condition of the sorting table.

3. Labor protection requirements during work

3.1. When transporting flax fiber, it is necessary to comply with the norms for carrying weights, which should not exceed:

  • for women over 18 years old - 15 kg when alternating with other work and 10 kg when lifting and moving heavy objects throughout the entire work shift;
  • for men over 18 years old - 50 kg;
  • At least two workers must manually lift a load weighing 60 - 80 kg.

4. Labor protection requirements in emergency situations

4.1. If situations arise that could lead to breakdowns and accidents, it is necessary to stop work and report the situation to the work manager.

4.2. If a fire occurs, notify the fire brigade, take measures to extinguish the fire using available fire extinguishing means, and inform the work manager.

4.3. If an emergency situation occurs that leads to injury to an employee, it is necessary to take measures to provide the victim with pre-medical care, ensure the safety of the situation of the accident (accident), if this does not pose a danger to the life and health of others, and notify the work manager.

5. Labor protection requirements at the end of work

5.1. At the end of the work, the flax fiber sorter must:

  • remove the fiber in the designated place;
  • clean tools and fixtures and put them in storage.

5.2. Report to the work manager about all shortcomings noticed during the work and about the completion of the work.

5.3. Take off protective clothing and personal protective equipment and take them to the intended place.

5.4. Follow the rules of personal hygiene.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Super exotic e-liquid 14.02.2019

By bombarding an ultra-thin "sandwich" of semiconductor materials with powerful but short pulses of laser light, physicists from the University of California have created a drop of quantum "electronic fluid" with a number of unique properties. But the most remarkable thing about this case is that a sample of this e-liquid was obtained for the first time at room temperature. This achievement opens up a new path to the development of high-performance devices using electromagnetic radiation in the terahertz range, which lies between infrared light and microwave radiation. Moreover, the electron liquid can be used in fundamental physical research carried out at an infinitesimal scale level, and this, in turn, will allow the creation of so-called quantum metamaterials, the structure of which is ordered to the level of single atoms.

In their experiment, physicists used the thinnest layer of molybdenum ditelluride (a semiconductor material) sandwiched between two layers of graphene. The thickness of this "sandwich" was very small and did not exceed the thickness of the DNA chain molecule. During the experiment, laser light pulses were applied to the surface of the material, the duration of which was calculated in quadrillion fractions of a second.

In conventional semiconductor materials, such exposure to laser light leads to the appearance of free electrons and positively charged electron holes moving in the volume of the material, which can conventionally be considered as a gaseous medium. At the beginning of the experiment, everything happened in exactly the same way, according to the canons of classical physics. But, after increasing the energy contained in the laser light pulse above a certain threshold, scientists noticed the formation of an exotic object in the material, which can be described by the not very clear term "anomalous photocurrent ring" (anomalous photocurrent ring).

The unique optoelectronic properties of e-liquid droplets, according to scientists, will make it possible to use it to create the latest optical and electronic devices with outstanding characteristics and the highest efficiency. “Currently, we know very little about the properties of such e-liquids, which were previously obtained only at temperatures below the temperature in open space,” the scientists write, “During further research, we will study the properties of these liquid exotics and determine their characteristics, such as surface tension forces.

In addition to studying the e-liquid itself, scientists plan to use it to investigate some of the fundamental physical phenomena. For example, cooling a drop of electron fluid to ultra-low temperatures can transform it into a quantum electron fluid with physical properties so exotic that it can be considered as a completely new state of matter.
