Lava Mobiles has announced a mid-range Magnum X604 smartphone running Android 4.4.2 KitKat.

The device has a 6-inch touch screen, and therefore, in fact, is a mini-tablet, or phablet. The screen resolution is 720 x 1280 pixels (720p).

The "heart" of the mobile device is a quad-core processor with a clock frequency of 1,2 GHz, the amount of RAM is 1 GB; the integrated flash module holds 8 GB of data (expandable with a microSD card up to 32 GB).

There are two cameras: front with a 2-megapixel matrix and the main one with an 8-megapixel sensor, autofocus and LED flash. The equipment also includes adapters for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth wireless networks, a receiver for GPS/GLONASS satellite navigation systems, and a standard set of sensors. The smartphone measures 163,3 x 84 x 8,9 mm and weighs 207 grams.

Magnum X604 supports 2G/3G mobile networks. Claimed battery life on a single charge of a 2600 mAh battery reaches 8 hours of talk time and 200 hours of call waiting.

It will be possible to buy a novelty at an estimated price of $200.
