1. General provisions

1.1. The instructions apply to all departments of the enterprise.

1.2. The instruction was developed on the basis of DNAOP 0.00-8.03-93 "Procedure for the development and approval by the owner of regulations on labor protection in force at the enterprise", DNAOP 0.00-4.15-98 "Regulations on the development of instructions for protection.

1.3. This manual is designed for junior service personnel of the company - brand managers.

1.4. A brand manager is allowed to work independently after passing:

  • medical examination;
  • an introductory briefing conducted by a labor protection engineer or a person appointed responsible for the state of labor protection by order of the director (manager) of the Firm according to the approved instructions for the introductory briefing;
  • initial briefing at the workplace, conducted by the head of a structural unit, service or section, foreman or foreman;
  • training and testing knowledge on labor protection issues (for employees who are hired for work with increased danger or for work where there is a need for professional selection);
  • internship for 2-15 days (or shifts).

1.5. Employees who are hired for work with increased danger or for work where there is a need for professional selection undergo preliminary special training and testing of knowledge on labor protection issues for the specific work that they will perform, before starting independent work, as well as in the event of a break in operation for over one year.

Periodic examinations of knowledge on labor protection issues of this category of employees are carried out at least once a year.

Repeated briefing on labor protection for employees engaged in work with increased danger is carried out 1 time in 3 months, and for other employees - 1 time in 6 months.

Officials and specialists undergo training and knowledge testing on labor protection issues before starting to perform their duties, as well as periodically, once every three years.

1.6. The brand manager is obliged to perform functional duties, work on the instructions of his manager, observe labor discipline, timely and accurately comply with the orders of the administration, labor protection requirements, take care of the Firm's property.

1.7. When operating a personal computer (PC), a brand manager may be affected by the following hazardous and harmful production factors:

  • increased levels of electromagnetic radiation;
  • low or high humidity in the working area;
  • reduced or increased air mobility of the working area;
  • increased noise level;
  • increased or decreased illumination level;
  • increased brightness of the light image;
  • increased voltage in the electrical circuit, the closure of which can occur through the human body;
  • eye strain, attention, prolonged static loads.

1.8. The brand manager operating electrical equipment, in the performance of work duties, must:

  • know the rules for operating the electrical installation (operating instructions, the place of connection of the electrical installation in the switchgear, the location of the input switch, blocking switch, the circuit diagram of the connection route, control buttons, housing, control knobs; the main elements of the electrical installation are a transformer, rectifier and DC generator, electric motor, control panel, grounding, zeroing, etc.);
  • know the basic requirements of labor protection, comply with organizational and technical measures when performing work (knowledge of this instruction, serviceability of the power supply line - kinks, bare areas, bends; use of basic and additional protective equipment; use of tools with insulated handles, checking the connection of grounding and grounding );
  • have a clear understanding of the danger of electric shock and the danger of approaching live parts (dangerous voltage, dangerous current, electrical safety classification of the room, ground resistance value);
  • have practical skills in providing first aid to victims of electric current.

1.9. During the operation of electrical equipment, a dangerous production factor is electric current. The largest value of alternating current of industrial frequency, at which a person can independently break away from the electrical wire, is on average 15 - 20 mA (for direct current - 60 - 79 mA). Alternating current (frequency 50 Hz) is considered safe with a power of up to 0,01 - 0,02 A and direct current - up to 0,05 - 0,06 A. A current of 0,1 A and above is fatal to humans.

The factors that determine the degree of electric shock are: the strength of the current, the duration of the impact of the electric current on a person, the place of contact and the path of the current, the condition of the skin, the electrical resistance of the body, the physiological state of the body.

Types of electric shock:

  • electric shock (paralysis of the heart and breathing);
  • thermal burn (electrical burn);
  • skin electroplating;
  • mechanical damage (tissue rupture);
  • chemical damage (electrolysis).

1.10. The means of individual protection for the user of a personal computer is an individual screen or a built-in protective screen of the monitor.

1.11. To protect against the impact of hazardous and harmful production factors while at the site of construction and installation works (at the facility, base and garage), the brand manager must be in a helmet, overalls, safety shoes and other personal protective equipment (in traffic conditions - a signal vest) .

1.12. The brand manager must comply with fire safety requirements, know the location of fire extinguishing equipment, be able to use primary fire extinguishing equipment, including carbon dioxide fire extinguishers of the OU-5, OU-10 grade or powder grade OP-5, OP-10.

Carbon dioxide (OU-5, OU-10) and powder (OP-5, OP-10) fire extinguishers allow you to extinguish a fire on electrical equipment up to 380 V without removing the voltage.

1.13. Paint and varnish products in the premises should be placed on racks or in stacks, the width of the passage between which should be at least 1 m.

1.14. Employees who do not comply with the requirements of this instruction on labor protection may be subject to disciplinary, financial, administrative and criminal liability in accordance with applicable law.

7.2.4. In case of injury or sudden illness, immediately notify your supervisor, organize first aid or call an ambulance by calling "03".

7.4. Providing first aid.

7.4.1. First aid for electric shock.

In case of electric shock, it is necessary to immediately release the victim from the action of electric current by disconnecting the electrical installation from the power source, and if it is impossible to disconnect it, pull it away from the conductive parts by clothing or using insulating material at hand.

If the victim has no breathing and pulse, it is necessary to give him artificial respiration and indirect (external) heart massage, paying attention to the pupils. Dilated pupils indicate a sharp deterioration in the blood circulation of the brain. In this state, the revival must begin immediately, and then call an "ambulance".

7.4.2. First aid for injury.

To provide first aid in case of injury, it is necessary to open an individual package, apply a sterile dressing material, which is placed in it, to the wound and tie it with a bandage.

If somehow the individual package was not found, then a clean handkerchief, a clean linen rag, etc. must be used for dressing. On a rag that is applied directly to the wound, it is advisable to drip a few drops of tincture of iodine to get a stain larger than the wound, and then apply the rag to the wound. It is especially important to apply the tincture of iodine in this way to contaminated wounds.

7.4.3. First aid for fractures, dislocations, shocks.

In case of fractures and dislocations of the limbs, it is necessary to strengthen the damaged limb with a splint, plywood plate, stick, cardboard or other similar object. The injured arm can also be hung with a bandage or handkerchief from the neck and bandaged to the torso.

In case of a skull fracture (unconsciousness after a blow to the head, bleeding from the ears or mouth), it is necessary to apply a cold object to the head (a heating pad with ice, snow or cold water) or make a cold lotion.

If a fracture of the spine is suspected, it is necessary to put the victim on the board, without lifting him, turn the victim on his stomach face down, while observing that the body does not bend, in order to avoid damage to the spinal cord.

In case of a fracture of the ribs, a sign of which is pain during breathing, coughing, sneezing, movements, it is necessary to tightly bandage the chest or pull it off with a towel during exhalation.

7.4.4. First aid for thermal burns.

In case of burns with fire, steam, hot objects, in no case should you open the formed blisters and bandage the burns with a bandage.

For first-degree burns (redness), the burned area is treated with cotton wool soaked in ethyl alcohol.

For second-degree burns (blisters), the burned area is treated with alcohol or a 3% manganese solution.

For third-degree burns (destruction of skin tissue), the wound is covered with a sterile dressing and a doctor is called.

7.4.5. First aid for bleeding.

In order to stop bleeding, you must:

  • raise the injured limb up;
  • close the bleeding wound with a dressing (from a bag) folded into a ball, press it from above, without touching the wound itself, hold for 4-5 minutes. If the bleeding stops without removing the applied material, put another pad from another bag or a piece of cotton on top of it and bandage the wounded area (with some pressure);
  • in case of severe bleeding that cannot be stopped with a bandage, compression of the blood vessels that feed the wounded area is applied by bending the limb at the joints, as well as with fingers, a tourniquet or a clamp. In case of heavy bleeding, you should immediately call a doctor.

7.5. If a fire occurs, start extinguishing with the available fire extinguishing equipment. If necessary, call the fire department.

7.6. Follow the instructions of the head of work to eliminate the emergency.

Mold is the key to finding extraterrestrial life 23.03.2018

Employees of the American aerospace agency NASA are analyzing the chemical composition of samples of moonstone and meteorites. During the study, experts discovered a special type of mold that may be the key to the search for life outside the Earth.

Among NASA laboratories there is a special one called "clean room". It serves to study samples of meteorites collected in Antarctica. The level of sterility is extremely high, but at times scientists find dirt in different places, which is inevitable even in such conditions. This makes it difficult to study meteorite samples for the presence of extraterrestrial materials, since disinfection cannot be carried out.

During one of the lab's "clean room" checks for dirt, fungi that looked like mold were found. Under certain conditions, they are able to produce proteins that are rarely found on Earth, so they are often considered extraterrestrial. NASA researchers are studying this type of mold because they believe it could hold the key to finding life beyond Earth.
