Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, introductory briefing, primary briefing at the workplace, training in safe labor methods and techniques, certification with a protocol, an internship for 2-14 shifts (depending on qualifications) are allowed to work on the press under the guidance of a person appointed by the order for the workshop, admission to work with registration in the "Journal of registration of instruction at the workplace".

1.2. Once a quarter, employees are re-instructed.

1.2.1. Unscheduled briefing is carried out during breaks in work for more than 30 days, in case of violation of the requirements set forth in the instructions for labor protection, when changing the requirements of labor safety rules, when changing the technical process, replacing or upgrading equipment, fixtures, tools, materials and other production factors, affecting labor safety, when performing one-time or temporary unusual work, during which a work permit is issued, a targeted briefing is carried out.

1.3. Employees are required to comply with labor discipline and internal labor regulations.

1.3.1. Smoking is allowed in designated areas.

1.3.2. Alcoholic drinks and drugs are not allowed.

1.3.3. Persons in a state of intoxication who are on the territory of the enterprise during working and non-working hours are subject to immediate removal from the territory with the drawing up of an act of suspension from work.

1.3.4. Persons who are in an unhealthy (physically and mentally) state or under the influence of narcotic drugs are not allowed to stay on the territory of the enterprise, which may cause danger to the life of this person or other employees.

1.3.5. Visiting other workshops and sites is allowed only with the permission of the administration of the workshop. Ignorance of the specific conditions of a particular workshop, site can be the cause of an accident.

1.3.6. Entrance to the dining room, dining room, buffet is allowed only after removing work clothes.

1.3.7. Storage and eating, storage of personal belongings is allowed only in designated areas.

1.3.8. Only assigned work is allowed.

1.4. For employees, an 8-hour working day with a break of 40 minutes is set.

1.5. In the process of labor, the following dangerous and harmful production factors affect workers:

Physical:

• moving parts of production equipment;
• increased or decreased air temperature of the working area;
• lack or lack of natural light;
• insufficient illumination of the working area;
• sharp edges, burrs and roughness on the surfaces of tools and equipment.

Psychophysiological:

• eye strain;
• tension of attention;
• monotony of work;
• irrational organization of the workplace.

1.6. In accordance with the "Model industry standards for the free issuance of overalls", workers are issued personal protective equipment:

• dressing gown cotton GOST 12.4.131-83;
• slippers GOST 11355-88.

1.7. To prevent an explosion or fire:

1.7.1. Do not use open fire indoors.

1.7.2. Used wiping materials must be put away in metal boxes with tight-fitting lids.

1.7.3. Avoid accumulation of dust on the equipment and in the workplace.

1.7.4. Dry special clothes and shoes in specially designated areas.

1.7.5. Do not use open coil electric heaters.

1.7.6. Provide free access to fire extinguishing equipment.

1.7.7. If a fire or ignition is detected, immediately report it to the fire brigade by phone: 25-41; 24-43 and start extinguishing the fire with the available fire extinguishing equipment, while extinguishing the equipment under voltage with carbon dioxide or powder fire extinguishers. Take measures to call an official to the place of fire.

1.8. If the equipment malfunctions, stop work and immediately report the incident to the administration.

1.9. In case of an accident, turn off the equipment, provide assistance to the victim, report the incident to the administration. Save the situation of the incident, if it does not create a danger to others.

1.10. Each worker must be able to provide first aid. First aid to the victim should be provided immediately and directly and at the scene, immediately after the elimination of the cause that caused the injury. For the proper organization of first aid, there should be a first aid kit on the site, complete with medicines and medical supplies, taking into account the specifics of the site.

1.10.1. In case of abrasions and scratches, the damaged area should be lubricated with iodine tincture or hydrogen peroxide.

1.10.2. For small wounds with minor bleeding, it is necessary to lubricate the edges with iodine tincture, moisten the bleeding surface with a 3% solution of hydrogen peroxide or a solution of potassium permanganate until the bleeding decreases or stops, and then apply a bandage of dressing material to the wound.

1.10.3. For small wounds, abrasions, scratches, small cuts, injections, wash the damaged area with warm water and soap, a solution of potassium permanganate, hydrogen peroxide and wipe dry with a towel, treat with iodine tincture or alcohol infusion of brilliant green. You can use BF-2 glue or Novikov liquid.

1.10.4. In case of a bruise, apply a tight bandage to the bruised part of the body and apply cold objects on top of the bandage.

1.10.5. In case of electric shock, first and emergency assistance consists in releasing a person from the action of electric current, immediately calling a doctor, and before the arrival of the latter, depending on the condition of the victim, in providing the necessary assistance (bringing the victim to consciousness, stopping bleeding, performing artificial respiration and etc.).

1.11. Wash hands with warm water and soap before eating.

1.12. Persons who violated the requirements of the instruction on labor protection, depending on the consequences of the violation, bear disciplinary, financial or criminal liability.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Check the availability and serviceability of personal protective equipment, put them in order.

2.1.1. Put on overalls, fasten it with all buttons, put your hair under a headdress.

2.2. Check the condition of the workplace, if it is not cleaned or cluttered - take measures to clean it.

2.2.1. Make sure that you have free access to starting devices, switches.

2.2.2. Make sure there are free passages.

2.2.3. Make sure the floors, tables and chairs are in good condition.

2.3. Inspect the process equipment and make sure it is in full working order.

2.3.1. Check the integrity of the insulation of wires, plugs, sockets.

2.4. Check the serviceability of the working tool and equipment.

2.4.1. Defective instruments must not be used.

2.4.2. When working on presses that have an increased risk of tool breakage, flying parts, check the availability of reliable protective devices that prevent injury to fingers between moving and fixed parts and injury from flying parts.

A special plate affixed to the press must indicate the safety devices with which to work.

2.5. Check the correctness of the press.

2.5.1. Switching levers of roulettes and other controls should occur smoothly, without jamming.

2.5.2. The press units (punch and stand) must have a smooth, unbeaten, free of burrs, nicks and dents.

2.6. Place tools and materials in a convenient and safe place.

2.7. Make sure the work area is adequately lit.

2.8. Report any deficiencies to the administration.

2.9. Start work after elimination of violations.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. Perform work in accordance with the technological process.

3.2. During work, you must be careful and not be distracted.

3.3. When pressing the units, remove and stack the products only when the rod is completely immobile, which is in the upper position.

3.4. Install parts for pressing in strictly vertically without distortions; in case of distortions, they can fly off to the side.

3.5. Do not adjust parts while the stem is moving.

3.6. Do not put your hands into the working area when the rod is working.

3.7. Do not adjust the press or make any repairs during operation.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations.

4.1. In the course of work, a variety of emergency situations can occur:

• fire;
• short circuit.

4.2. In the event of a fire, report the fire by calling _______ and start extinguishing the fire using primary fire extinguishing equipment. Extinguish de-energized equipment with water, foam fire extinguisher "OHP", cover the source of fire with an asbestos (blanket) blanket or cover it with sand.

4.3. In the event of a short circuit in the electrical circuit of the equipment:

• it is necessary to turn off the equipment and inform the master;
• hang a sign about equipment malfunction;
• do not start working on this equipment until the malfunction is completely eliminated.

4.4. In case of injury and sudden illness, immediately notify the appropriate work manager, who will immediately organize first aid and direct him to a medical center.

4.5. In case of electric shock, immediately de-energize the equipment (turn off the knife switch or switch), if it is impossible to turn it off, pull the victim away from the electrical installation by the floors of clothing. When releasing the victim from the effects of current, do not touch him with bare hands.

After release, provide the victim with first aid and immediately report the incident to your supervisor.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Turn off equipment.

5.2. Tidy up the workplace.

5.2.1. Remove fixtures and tools.

5.2.2. Clean equipment, work table from dirt and dust.

5.3. Wash hands with warm water and soap.

5.4. Report all noticed shortcomings in the operation of the equipment to the administration or technical services.

5.5. Turn off the lights, close the windows.
