iRobot Corporation, which produces robots for performing various operations in adverse conditions, has published the first photographs of its new development, known under the code name Sentinel.

This innovative networking technology is funded by the US military budget. It makes it possible to simultaneously control the actions of many semi-automatic robots from one computer equipped with a touch screen.

Samsung has announced a new member of the POWERbot series of innovative robotic vacuum cleaners - VR7000.

The POWERbot VR7000 robot vacuum cleaner features a slimmer 97mm body that is 28% thinner than previous models. This allows it to reach hard-to-reach places that are usually missed when using handheld vacuum cleaners.

Depending on the model, the air suction power of the POWERbot VR7000 is up to 20W. The Edge Clean Master feature allows for a more thorough cleaning within 15mm of the wall. The wide brush (288 mm) also contributes to this.

The POWERbotTM VR7000 is equipped with several intelligent features, including Visionary Mapping Plus and FullView Sensor 2.0, which allow you to create a virtual map of the room and remember its contours for better cleaning later.

The Intelligent Power Control function allows you to adjust the suction power and optimize cleaning according to the type of floor surface. The robot vacuum cleaner can be connected to the Internet of Things (IoT) infrastructure, and can be controlled remotely using a smartphone with a pre-installed application or using voice commands using an Amazon Echo device.

The POWERbot VR7000 was honored with the 2017 CES Innovation Award, recognizing its innovative design and ability to clean even the most inaccessible spaces.
