I. General Provisions

The operator for dispatching maintenance of elevators belongs to the category of technical performers.
A person who has primary vocational education without presenting requirements for work experience or secondary (complete) general education and special training according to an established program without presenting requirements for work experience is appointed to the position of operator for dispatching elevators.
Appointment to the position and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the director of the enterprise on the proposal of the head of the economic department.
The operator for dispatching maintenance of elevators must know:

regulations, instructions, other guidance materials and regulatory documents relating to the dispatching service of elevators;
the device of the dispatching console and the rules for the operation of serviced elevators;
basics of labor organization;
labor legislation;
Internal labor regulations;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

II. Official duties

Elevator dispatch operator:

Starts and, if necessary, stops the elevators, monitors the serviceability of their work.
Answers the calls of passengers in the elevator car.
In the event of a delay of passengers in the elevator cabin, he identifies the reasons for the stop and gives them the necessary explanations on the rules for using the elevator.
Timely reports on the malfunctions in the operation of the elevator for taking measures to eliminate them.
Fills out the log of acceptance and delivery of the shift.
Monitors the serviceability of the dispatcher console and two-way communication.

III. Rights

The elevator dispatcher has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to their official duties.
Submit proposals for the improvement of the work related to the duties provided for in this instruction for consideration by your immediate supervisor.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings identified in the course of the performance of official duties and make proposals for their elimination.

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
