I. General Provisions

This Job Description defines the functional duties, rights and responsibilities of the on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
The on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department belongs to the category of specialists.
The on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department is appointed and dismissed in accordance with the procedure established by the current labor legislation by order of the General Director of the television and radio company in agreement with the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
The on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department reports directly to the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
A person with a higher professional or secondary professional education and at least 1 year experience in a similar position is appointed to the position of editor of the on-air promotion of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
For the proper performance of duties, the editor of the on-air promotion of the production department of the television broadcasting department must know:

laws and other regulatory legal acts that determine the requirements for the level of television programs;
requirements for writing video texts;
basic principles of video sequence construction, basic terminology;
organization of the creative process, technical means and technology for creating television programs and other television products;
the procedure and terms for submitting information about the work done to the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department;
knowledge of the basics of promotion and media planning;
personal computer to the extent necessary to perform their duties;
rules of internal labor regulations;
regulations on commercial secrets of the TV and radio company;
rules and norms of labor protection;
rules for using the LAN and other local regulations of the television and radio company relating to the activities of the production department of the television broadcasting department.

In his work, the editor of the on-air promotion of the production department of the television broadcasting department is guided by:

laws "On Mass Media", "On Advertising",
Charter of the TV and radio company,
Regulations on the Department of Television Broadcasting,
Regulations on the production department,
this Job Description.

During the period of temporary absence, the on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department (illness, vacation, business trip), his duties may be assigned to a person appointed by order of the General Director of the television and radio company. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the improper performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Participates in the filming of TV and radio company projects.
Prepares material for the editing of announcements and participates in the editing of commercials.
Participates in the development of a creative concept for the promotion of programs, television and radio companies, air design.
Controls the filling of the air with the original promotion and announcing products.
He is engaged in media planning of promotional products of a television and radio company.
Fulfills the instructions of the head of the production department, which do not contradict the labor legislation of Ukraine.
Keeps the workplace clean and tidy.
Observes labor discipline, rules and regulations of labor protection, industrial sanitation and hygiene requirements, fire safety requirements.
Informs the head of the production department of the television broadcasting department and the head of the technical department about the malfunction of the reporting equipment.
Takes part in the weekly planning meetings of the production department of the television broadcasting department.

III. Rights

The on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department has the right to:

Request and receive the necessary materials and documents related to the activities of the on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department.
Get acquainted with projects for the reorganization and technical re-equipment of the television and radio company in general and the production department of the television broadcasting department in particular.
Submit proposals for the consideration of the management on improving the work of the production department of the television broadcasting department, the development of original television projects.

IV. A responsibility

The on-air promotion editor of the production department of the television broadcasting department is responsible for:

for improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - in accordance with the current labor legislation of Ukraine;
for offenses committed in the course of their activities - in accordance with the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine;
for causing material damage to a television and radio company - in accordance with the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine;
for the safety of the technical equipment entrusted to him;
for compliance with the current corporate identity of the TV and radio company and individual projects on the air and on other media.

Snoring damages the heart 04.10.2019

Snoring can indicate obstructive sleep apnea - this is the name for short-term pauses in breathing that occur during sleep and cause the brain to wake up periodically for a moment.

During sleep, the muscles of the pharynx, like the muscles of the whole body, relax. Soft tissues, closing, block the airways, the level of carbon dioxide in the blood begins to rise. Special receptors sense this and send a signal to the brain to wake up. Waking up for a short time, the person begins to breathe properly again, the level of oxygen in the blood rises, and sleep returns. Not every snoring, even very loud, necessarily indicates apnea, but still this is an occasion to check yourself for respiratory distress.

It's not just that we don't get enough sleep because of sleep apnea. It is authentically known that because of it the probability of cardiovascular diseases increases; sleep apnea may be a major cause of secondary hypertension; sleep apnea can cause heart rhythm disturbances, increasing the likelihood of a stroke.

Obstructive sleep apnea is now quite successfully treated - both with surgical methods and with the help of special devices that eliminate snoring and maintain a constant flow of air in the airways. These devices are considered the most effective way to combat sleep apnea. However, even with them it is not always possible to reduce the risk of cardiovascular problems. Therefore, researchers are trying to understand in detail the physiological mechanisms that link sleep apnea with heart and vascular disease.

Researchers at the Australian Heart Institute, along with colleagues from the University of Sydney and Macquarie University, write in Frontiers in Neuroscience that they have found a neurotransmitter that links sleep apnea to high blood pressure. This neurotransmitter is called PACAP (pituitary adenylate cyclase activating polypeptide, pituitary adenylyl cyclase activating polypeptide).

In sleep apnea, the brain undergoes periodic lack of oxygen, and PACAP is needed in order to stimulate the activity of the sympathetic nervous system. It, as you know, refers to the autonomic nervous system that controls the work of internal organs. Activation of the sympathetic nervous system stimulates the heart, and as a result, blood pressure rises.

Scientists tried to block the receptors that bind the PACAP neurotransmitter, and as a result, the heart continued to work normally. So far, experiments have been carried out on animals, but it is possible that humans will soon be able to create a substance that will help our cardiovascular system withstand sleep apnea.
