I. General Provisions

The head nurse belongs to the category of leaders;
A person with a higher medical education without any work experience requirements or a secondary medical education and at least 5 years of experience in the field is appointed to the position of chief nurse.
Appointment to the position of chief nurse and dismissal from it are made by order of the head of the institution.
The head nurse should know:

Ukrainian legislation;
the procedure for drawing up work schedules and placing middle and junior medical personnel;
theoretical foundations of hygiene and healthcare organization;
organization of social and medical rehabilitation of patients;
theoretical and organizational foundations of the sanitary and epidemiological service;
organization of health education, hygienic education of the population and promotion of a healthy lifestyle;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures, industrial sanitation and fire protection.

The head nurse reports directly to _______.
During the absence of the chief nurse (vacation, illness, etc.), her duties are performed by a person appointed by order of the head of the institution.

II. Official duties

Chief Nurse:

Ensures rational organization of work for nursing and junior medical personnel and improves their qualifications.
Carries out timely discharge, distribution and storage of dressings, medicines, etc., including poisonous and narcotic drugs, and keeps records of their consumption.
Controls: the work of nursing and junior medical personnel in admitting and discharging patients; transportation of patients within hospital departments; fulfillment of medical prescriptions by nursing staff; sanitary and hygienic maintenance of hospital departments, clothing and linen of patients; timeliness and quality of disinfection of premises where infectious patients were located.

III. Rights

The head nurse has the right to:

Participate in discussions of issues related to her job duties.
Submit for consideration by the management of the institution to improve the quality of medical care to the population and improve the organization of work.
Sign and endorse documents within their competence.
Make proposals on encouraging distinguished employees, imposing penalties on violators of production and labor discipline.
Demand that the management of the institution provide assistance in the performance of their official duties and rights.
Take part in the work of meetings, conferences, sections, which discuss issues related to professional competence.

IV. A responsibility

The head nurse is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.

Silicon Labs announced the release of the industry's first single package UV sensor. This sensor can monitor sunlight exposure, heart rate and blood oxygen saturation (pulse oximetry), as well as implement proximity response and gesture control functions in mobile and wearable electronic devices.

Sensors Si1132 and Si114x, according to the manufacturer, will find application in physical activity monitors in the form of bracelets and cuffs, smart watches and smartphones. In addition to measuring the UV index, they allow you to evaluate the level of ambient light in the visible range and measure infrared radiation.

The ability to measure the intensity of ultraviolet radiation will allow sensor-equipped devices to warn the user of danger by analyzing the total exposure over time and comparing it with acceptable values.

The Si1132 sensor operates in the UV and visible light range. It is equipped with I2C interface.

The Si1145/46/47 sensors additionally cover the infrared range. Among themselves, they differ in the presence of one, two or three LED drivers with 15 brightness levels, which are used in gesture recognition systems.
