Well, yes - the part number and the number of channels did not agree with us now - what can you do.

Now we will talk about 4-channel amplifiers. For the most part, they are used for automotive use, but, in principle, nothing prevents them from being used at home - their characteristics are quite decent, especially for the latest generation.

Let's start with TDA7560, manufactured by SGS-Thomson. As usual, this is a class AB bridge amplifier with all kinds of protections, Mute and StanBy functions, and, as you will see in the diagram, the almost complete absence of attachments.

Well, this chip also works great for a load of 2 ohms.

The main characteristics are as follows:

Supply voltage 8...18(typ. 14,4)
Current consumption no signal, mA 200
Input resistance, kOhm 100
Maximum output power (KG=10%), W:
Rload=4Ohm 30
Rload=2Ohm 55
Rated output power (KG=0.5%), W:
Rload=4Ohm 22
Rload=2Ohm 41
Reproducible frequency range, Hz 20 20000 ...

That is, in fact, you take a microcircuit, attach inputs and outputs to it, and everything is already working. Story.

This creation is produced in the Flexiwatt25 case - again with half holes on the sides.

Our next patient is a microchip TDA8571J from Philips Semiconductors. With this amplifier, the comrades decided to show off and made it a bridge one, like everyone else, but at the same time - class B. And the rest, as usual, a full set of output protections and temperature protection. Moreover, as with the previous prepared one, there is practically no need for hinged elements.

The main features are as follows

Supply voltage 6...18(typ. 14.4)
Current consumption no signal, mA 200
Input resistance, kOhm 30
Maximum output power (KG=10%), W: 26
Rated output power (KG=0.5%), W: 19
Reproducible frequency range, Hz 20 20000 ...

And the amp is naked.

Well, if you just come in to hang up the Mute input. All this happiness is in the SOT411-1 package, again with half holes on the sides.

Everything - on the last and that's enough.

This time the last will be the amplifier TDA8591 all the same Philips Semiconductors. According to its characteristics, it is similar to the previous speaker, but it can work with a 2-ohm load and is somewhat more powerful. Plus, it has a rather clever circuit for detecting constant voltage at the output.

The main features are as follows

Supply voltage 8...18(typ. 14,4)
Current consumption no signal, mA 200
Input resistance, kOhm 70
Maximum output power (KG=10%), W:
Rload=4Ohm 28
Rload=2Ohm 47
Rated output power (KG=0.5%), W:
Rload=4Ohm 22
Rload=2Ohm 34
Reproducible frequency range, Hz 20 20000 ...

Well, in general, nothing particularly terrible, you just need to take into account that for the amplifier to work, the S1 button must be closed. Otherwise, he will be silent like a partisan.

As for the circuit for detecting a constant voltage at the output, then if you don’t need it, you can throw out almost half of the passive components from the circuit. Let's list these heroes by name: R1-R6, C14. And we connect the 26th output of the microcircuit to a common wire.

Well, that's all for now. Of course, we do not end the topic of Brijumps here - in fact, we have just begun it.

The world's tallest astronomical observatory opened 04.05.2024

Exploring space and its mysteries is a task that attracts the attention of astronomers from all over the world. In the fresh air of the high mountains, far from city light pollution, the stars and planets reveal their secrets with greater clarity. A new page is opening in the history of astronomy with the opening of the world's highest astronomical observatory - the Atacama Observatory of the University of Tokyo. The Atacama Observatory, located at an altitude of 5640 meters above sea level, opens up new opportunities for astronomers in the study of space. This site has become the highest location for a ground-based telescope, providing researchers with a unique tool for studying infrared waves in the Universe. Although the high altitude location provides clearer skies and less interference from the atmosphere, building an observatory on a high mountain poses enormous difficulties and challenges. However, despite the difficulties, the new observatory opens up broad research prospects for astronomers. ... >>

Controlling objects using air currents 04.05.2024

The development of robotics continues to open up new prospects for us in the field of automation and control of various objects. Recently, Finnish scientists presented an innovative approach to controlling humanoid robots using air currents. This method promises to revolutionize the way objects are manipulated and open new horizons in the field of robotics. The idea of controlling objects using air currents is not new, but until recently, implementing such concepts remained a challenge. Finnish researchers have developed an innovative method that allows robots to manipulate objects using special air jets as "air fingers". The air flow control algorithm, developed by a team of specialists, is based on a thorough study of the movement of objects in the air flow. The air jet control system, carried out using special motors, allows you to direct objects without resorting to physical ... >>

Purebred dogs get sick no more often than purebred dogs 03.05.2024

Caring for the health of our pets is an important aspect of the life of every dog owner. However, there is a common assumption that purebred dogs are more susceptible to diseases compared to mixed dogs. New research led by researchers at the Texas School of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences brings new perspective to this question. A study conducted by the Dog Aging Project (DAP) of more than 27 companion dogs found that purebred and mixed dogs were generally equally likely to experience various diseases. Although some breeds may be more susceptible to certain diseases, the overall diagnosis rate is virtually the same between both groups. The Dog Aging Project's chief veterinarian, Dr. Keith Creevy, notes that there are several well-known diseases that are more common in certain breeds of dogs, which supports the notion that purebred dogs are more susceptible to disease. ... >>

Wall mounted smart battery for home 14.05.2015

American automotive company Tesla Motors Inc., focused on the production of electric vehicles, introduced rechargeable lithium-ion batteries for the home. Drives will allow to store solar energy in sufficient volume for nightly electrification of a house or office, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Called Powerwall, the Silicon Valley-based company unveiled wall-mounted batteries on Thursday, April 30. The device is a box 1,3 meters high, 86 centimeters long and about 18 centimeters wide. It can be attached to the wall of the house or garage. In addition to a lithium-ion drive, it also has a built-in computer.

Designed for 10 years, "smart" batteries will be produced in two types: 7 and 10 kilowatt-hours. The smaller model is priced at $XNUMX and does not include installation costs. Sales will begin in the summer, according to the manufacturer's website.

CEO and chairman of the board of directors of Tesla Motors, inventor Elon Musk, who, in addition, is the founder of SpaceX and PayPal, said that the goal of the developers was "to completely change the global energy consumption infrastructure."

Experts recognized the merits of the novelty, despite its cost, writes The Washington Post. “If Tesla gives consumers an efficient energy storage system at home, it will be much more valuable and bring more revenue to the company than all of its automotive developments,” says analyst Karl Brauer, quoted by the Detroit Free Press.

As conceived by the developers, the Powerwall drive will contribute to the complete rejection of fuel. To do this, it is enough to equip the roof of your house with solar panels and transfer to an electric car, the company believes.

Solar panels significantly reduce the cost of electricity for the end consumer, but the main problem with their use remains that they work, in fact, only during daylight hours.
