I. General Provisions

The Leading Sales Manager belongs to the category of professionals.
A person with a higher (secondary) professional qualification and work experience in similar positions for at least one year is appointed to the position of a leading sales manager.
The Leading Sales Manager is accepted and dismissed by order of the General Director on the proposal of the Commercial Director and the Head of the Wholesale Department.
The Lead Sales Manager reports directly to the Head of the Wholesale Department.
In his activities, the lead sales manager is guided by:

regulatory documents on the work performed;
methodological materials related to relevant issues;
the Charter of the Firm;
labor regulations;
orders and orders of the commercial director and head of the wholesale department;
this Job Description.

Must know:

Ukrainian legislation;
regional market, its conjuncture, features and specifics;
basics of pricing and marketing;
basics of advertising, forms and methods of conducting advertising campaigns;
assortment, classification, characteristics and purpose of products sold by the Firm;
conditions of storage and transportation of products sold by the Firm;
principles of organization of trade in the region;
psychology and sales principles;
the procedure for developing business plans and commercial terms of agreements, contracts;
development prospects and needs of regional consumers;
fundamentals of civil, commercial and patent law;
the basics of organizing work to create demand and stimulate sales of products in the region;
current forms of accounting and reporting;
ethics of business communication;
rules for establishing business contacts and negotiating;
the structure of the commercial service and the wholesale department;
rules for the operation of computer technology;
internal labor regulations.

II. Official duties

Organization and management of sales of the Company's products:

search for potential customers;
conducting commercial negotiations with clients in the interests of the Firm;
negotiation of working conditions with clients, execution and conclusion of contracts;
receiving and processing customer orders, according to the technology of the department;
tracking the timing and amounts of customer payments;
systematic visits to customers and the establishment of the most favorable mutually beneficial cooperation relations;
maintaining the assortment line with customers and ensuring appropriate product positioning;
motivation of clients to work with the Firm, in accordance with approved sales promotion programs;
travel on business trips in the interests of the Company;

Planning and analytical work:

collection of information about the regional market;
analysis of information about the regional market and development, based on the results of the analysis, of a strategy for promoting and selling products in this market;
development of operational and long-term plans for the sale of products in the region;
assortment and financial planning in accordance with the established regulations;
analysis of sales statistics and customer shipments of the Company;
collection and analysis of information on the positioning of competitors among customers, on changes in the market situation in the regional market;
reporting on the results of work in accordance with the regulations of the department and the company.

Sales assurance:

participation in the development and implementation of projects related to the activities of the wholesale department;
interaction with the Company's departments in order to fulfill the assigned tasks;
participation in workshops;
maintenance of working and reporting documentation.
maintaining up-to-date information about the client in the information system.

Control:

monitoring the fulfillment of contractual obligations and working conditions with clients;
control of the dynamics of payments and shipments.

III. Rights

The Leading Sales Manager has the right to:

Raise the issue of increasing the amount of remuneration, payment for overtime work in accordance with the provisions, documents and orders regulating the system of remuneration of employees of the Firm.
Report to higher management on all identified deficiencies within their competence.
Make proposals for improving the work related to the duties provided for in this Job Description.
Request personally or on behalf of management from structural units and employees reports and documents necessary for the performance of his duties.
Require the head of the department to provide assistance in the performance of their duties and rights.
Manage the financial and material resources entrusted to him.
Require management to ensure the organizational and technical conditions and execution of the established documents necessary for the performance of official duties.

IV. A responsibility

The Lead Sales Manager is responsible for:

For failure to perform (improper performance) of their official duties provided for by this instruction, within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For committing an offense in the process of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage and damage to the business reputation of the Firm - within the limits determined by the current labor, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
