Now, after two years of operation in the subsidiary farm, I can say that the goal has been achieved: the machine has become an indispensable assistant - with a set of attachments, the walk-behind tractor is used for plowing, cultivating, hilling, harrowing, and in winter - for clearing paths from snow. Coupled with a single-axle bogie equipped with a wooden body and a driver's seat, a self-propelled chassis with a load capacity of up to 200 kg is obtained. The frame of the walk-behind tractor is welded from steel pipes of square and rectangular section. Its spars are two meter-long sections with a section of 42x42x3 mm. Transverse beams 230 mm long and 30x30x3 mm in section are welded to their ends. The frame is reinforced with a central cross member. Next to it - under the spars - two bridge supports are welded from sections of a rectangular pipe 45x20x3 mm. Through the Z1 sprocket (16 teeth) and the chain (12,7 mm pitch) installed on the output shaft of the gearbox, the torque is transmitted to the sprocket 1-2 of the input shaft of the gearbox from the scooter " Vyatka". This arrangement of units may seem unnecessarily complicated. Indeed, it would be easier to use an engine from a scooter assembled with a box, but I chose this option based on the availability of parts and assemblies.
Since the engine is quite high-revving and three gears in the gearbox is not enough, it is possible to replace the input gear sprocket to get the necessary speed range for plowing and transport operations. So that when replacing a large sprocket with a small chain, it does not sag, the transmission has a tension sprocket, the axis of which can be moved in the groove of the spar. ё The output sprocket of the gearbox (15 teeth) is connected by a chain (pitch 19,05 mm) with the sprocket (11 teeth) of the rear gearbox from the cargo motor scooter TGA-200 "Ant". To ensure a rigid dependent wheel suspension, a number of improvements had to be made. Two semi-axes are machined from a steel bar, and the bearing journal is given a size that provides a fit) of the inner ring of the bearing with an interference fit. This is necessary to prevent axial displacement of the axle shafts. Then, at one end of each axle shaft, a splined coupling is welded, and on the other, after installing the ring under the protective seal, a wheel hub. The bearing body of the axle shaft is made of a thick-walled steel pipe with an outer diameter of at least 60 mm and a length of 220 mm. Attachments can be very diverse - based on the specific purpose and operating conditions, but the traction characteristics of the walk-behind tractor make it possible to use a single-leaf plow, cultivators and hillers in two rows, a tooth harrow 80 cm wide and a bulldozer blade about 70 cm wide.
To perform a variety of transport operations, the walk-behind tractor is connected to a single-axle bogie. On its welded steel profile frame, a spacious wooden body, a driver's seat and a swivel hitch are fixed, providing vertical rigidity of the connection. Wheels with brake drums (from the "Ant") are equipped with mechanical brakes controlled by a pedal from the driver's seat. I think that the possibilities of the machine have not yet been exhausted.
