Focus Description:

How to turn the selected card into caricatures for the audience.

Focus secret:

To do this, prepare a special deck, which consists of the same cards, for example, the eight of clubs. The back of this deck should be the same as the back of your regular deck. You will also need about twelve cards, on the front side of which there will be caricatures of the audience.

You fold your deck like this: put a cartoon on top, then an eight of clubs, again a cartoon and an eight of clubs, etc.

The first eight to ten cards should alternate like this. The remaining cards of the deck are eights of clubs.

Discreetly replace a real deck with a prepared one. Ask one of the women to pull out a card. At the same time, you offer that part of the deck in which there are only sevens. When she remembers the card, ask her to return the card to the deck so that you draw her portrait on the card. To do this, open the deck like a book, the spectator puts a card in the deck and you ask her to breathe on the cards.

While she is doing this, you replace that card using one of the card replacement methods described above. Now at the top of the deck is a card with a cartoon on it. After everyone has seen this "portrait" you say that you would love to give it to her, but this magical image is very short-lived. Ask the spectator to breathe again on the cards and again replace the card with the eight of clubs. Your "partner" will be very surprised that the map is back in its original form.

Now you can promise to draw a portrait of someone else on the map. And you repeat everything from the beginning.

Instead of cartoons, you can use some other images, for example, a rosebud is suitable for a girl, and a gladiolus for a young man. We just want to remind you that in no case should you offend the viewer with a picture.

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

Elevator to space 18.08.2016

The Canadian company "Thoth Technologies" announced its plans to connect the Earth and the stratosphere. Specialists are going to build an elevator into space with a twenty-kilometer shaft.

It is planned that the tower of nanoblocks will allow you to send people into space without a rocket. At its top, a platform will be placed that tourists can visit, in addition, it will be able to serve as a communication point and a runway for spacecraft.

The idea of such an elevator belongs to the company "Thoth Technologies". Project engineer Brendan Quinn notes that the tower he created will make it possible not to use rockets to send people into space. The astronauts will climb to the top with the help of an elevator that will develop superspeed. Spaceships will receive only one stage, which will allow them to refuel directly in the stratosphere.

Canada is not the first country to develop a building to connect Earth and space. Two years ago, developers from Japan announced their plans to build an elevator into space by 2050, which would be a breakthrough in the field of orbital flights. Obayashi's design is based on carbon nanotubes, which will create a design that would be extremely reliable at the lowest possible weight.
