But many measuring instruments can be made by hand. Sometimes a small-sized pointer measuring head may be at hand, for example, 6 V (GOST 8711-60). This head of the old release will allow you to assemble a portable measuring device (Fig. 1, a), where 1 is the body; 2 - pointer indicator RA1; 3 - FM lamp cover; 4 - potentiometer R2; 5 - plug; 6 - measuring probe; 7 - probe "general"; 8 - cambric; 9 - pin connector; 10 - terminal with connector socket X6; 11 - neon lamp HL1 of the phase indicator in the FRM lamp; 12 - terminal with socket X1; 13 - terminal with socket X3; 14 terminal with socket X4; 15 - power supply G1; 16 - contact holder of the FM flashlight; 17 - body of the FM flashlight (Fig. 1, b). Such a mini-tester will greatly facilitate the work of an electrician or radio amateur. It is accurate enough for amateur radio practice. The circuit diagram of the mini-tester is built according to the classic version (Fig. 2). It covers the ranges often required for measuring household voltages of direct "-6 V", "-60 V" and alternating "≈600 V" currents. The tester allows you to check the health of the elements of electrical and radio equipment: resistors, capacitors, diodes, transistors, as well as detect the phase and neutral wires of the network. Measurement ranges "-60 V" and "≈600 V" are calibrated on the scale "-6 V". So it is more convenient and expedient. To measure resistance, you need to make a separate scale. The scale "kohm" is calibrated with a set of resistors of known ratings. The SC21 type battery is located inside the FM flashlight (Fig. 1, b). The internal dimensions of the FM flashlight and the location of the contacts in it are ideal for this battery. Such an arrangement of the battery solves many "problems" for the radio amateur: there is no need to make a separate compartment for it in the device, spring-loaded contacts, etc. By unscrewing the cap of the lamp, you can easily remove the "shrunken" element and replace it with a new one. The corner holes of the measuring head flange connection should be carefully filed, i.e. make its side surface round. This will be a harmonious continuation of the body. The body of the tester is a cup made of impact-resistant plastic. The mini tester can be used in the repair of household electrical appliances and electrical equipment of a car, motorcycle.
