A new way to control smart watches

Samsung Electronics has patented a new way to control smart watches and other electronic devices.
The smartwatch described in the patent can scan and recognize the shape of its surrounding surface, and then use tiny built-in projectors to project a user interface onto the surface. It will also be possible to project an image onto the forearm and the outer side of the hand, or place virtual buttons directly on the user's fingers. In this case, the device will also be equipped with a set of photosensors that will know exactly where the user is pressing.
The authors of the patent claim that a similar technology can be used in conjunction with augmented and virtual reality headsets, as well as various computers.
