Unusual for mammals, the ability to regenerate tissues was found in spiny mice living in Africa and the Middle East. The skin of these rodents is 20 times less durable than that of ordinary mice, so the animals easily shed it in case of danger. Chinese smartphone accessories manufacturer Anker has announced an LED flash that can be connected to Apple iPhone 11 and 11 Pro smartphones using a Lightning cable. An important feature of the novelty is the Made for iPhone (MFi) certificate.

The iPhone LED Flash works with the standard Apple camera app and third-party camera apps. The manufacturer claims that its flash shines "twice as far and four times brighter" than the built-in flash. One charge of the flash battery lasts approximately 10 shots. For charging, the Lightning connector is used (but not the built-in cable, which only serves to connect to a smartphone). The scope of delivery includes a diffuser for softer illumination.
