Fundamentals of First Aid (OPMP)

Nausea and vomiting can be the result of irritation of the stomach with various low-quality foods or medicines, and also occur as a result of overeating, head trauma, motion sickness in transport, shock. These phenomena can accompany allergies, diseases of the ear, stomach, the occurrence of intestinal infections. Vomiting blood indicates internal or epistaxis bleeding, in which blood flows into the esophagus.

When to see a doctor

If the baby is vomiting.

If there is blood in the vomit.

If vomiting continues for several hours and is associated with general malaise, abdominal pain and fever.

First aid before the arrival of the doctor

1. Give your child water or weak unsweetened tea according to the scheme:

1st hour 5 ml every 5-10 minutes;

2st hour 10 ml every 10-15 minutes;

3rd hour 15-20 ml every 10-15 minutes.

2. If a child has frequent vomiting more than 4-5 times a day, give the child rehydron in the same way.

ATTENTION!

You can't force feed your baby.

3. During vomiting:

put the baby on his stomach or on his side and turn his head to the side;
rinse his mouth with water;
with intermittent vomiting, apply an ice pack to the stomach;
if poisoning is suspected, give the child 1-2 glasses of water to drink, press on the root of his tongue and induce vomiting;
if the child began to vomit when he was lying on his back, then urgently turn him face down, clean his mouth with a handkerchief or fingers from vomit and restore breathing.

4. After vomiting, you need to give the stomach a rest for several hours. If the child then asks for a drink, then give him one or two sips of water, but no more. If this did not cause vomiting, then after 15 minutes, allow the child to drink another 3-4 sips of water. Gradually increase the amount of water to 1/2 cup. A few hours after vomiting, the child can be given something from solid food - for example, a cookie, a little banana, or 1 tbsp. a spoonful of applesauce.

Class D amplifier with 240W output power and 0,1% distortion 14.03.2006

Texas Instruments and the Technical University of Denmark have developed a Class-D (Class-D) amplifier with 240W output power and less than I/O distortion.

A TI spokesman said that "this is the best known product of its kind, and the output power level is unprecedented for monolithic output stages." To achieve low THD, an open-loop feedback was used, which is preferable to closed-loop, which cannot easily be added to an all-digital signal path.

The amplifier is built on n-channel horizontal (lateral) DMOS transistors, which are used both in the output stages and in the pre-amp stages. Distortions initially affect the timing and electrical characteristics of the prestages. Reduced distortion is achieved by optimizing the size of the transistors of the preliminary and output stages.

The amplifier is manufactured using a 0,4 µm/1,8 µm high voltage BiCMOS process with two aluminum plating layers and one copper layer.

Each half-bridge uses three pins for VDD ground and output, each of which is connected to the crystal by a stranded wire. Two half-bridges are placed on the chip, each of which provides an output current of up to +18 A and a power of up to 244 W at a load of 4 ohms in bridge mode.
