Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. For independent work as a cutter, men and women who have passed a medical commission are allowed, as well as:

induction training;
fire safety briefing;
initial briefing at the workplace;
training in safe working methods and techniques for at least 10 hours;
instructing on electrical safety at the workplace and checking the assimilation of its content.

Persons who do not have medical contraindications may be accepted to perform the duties of a storekeeper of a logistics warehouse.

1.2. The cutter must pass:

repeated briefing on labor safety at the workplace at least every three months;
unscheduled briefing: when changing the technological process or labor protection rules, replacing or modernizing production equipment, fixtures and tools, changing working conditions and organization, in case of violations of labor protection instructions, breaks in work for more than 60 calendar days (for work, to which are subject to increased security requirements - 30 calendar days);
dispensary medical examination according to the order of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation No. 90 dated March 14, 03.1996

1.3. The cutter must:

comply with the internal labor regulations established at the enterprise;
comply with the requirements of this manual, fire safety instructions, electrical safety instructions;
comply with the requirements for the operation of equipment;
use for its intended purpose and take care of the issued personal protective equipment.

1.4. The cutter must:

be able to provide first (pre-medical) assistance to the victim in an accident;
perform only the assigned work and not transfer it to others without the permission of the foreman or head of the workshop;
during work, be attentive, not be distracted and not distract others, do not allow persons who are not related to work to the workplace;
keep the workplace clean and tidy.

1.5. The cutter must know and follow the rules of personal hygiene. Eat, smoke, rest only in specially designated areas and places. Drink water only from specially designed installations.

1.6. If any malfunctions of equipment, fixtures, tools and other shortcomings or hazards are found in the workplace, immediately inform the foreman or head of the workshop. work can only be started with their permission after the elimination of all deficiencies.

1.8. In accordance with the "Model norms for the free issuance of personal protective equipment to workers and employees of textile and light industry enterprises", the cutter must be provided with: an apron with a bib, worn for 12 months.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Inspect overalls and other personal protective equipment, put on serviceable overalls.

2.2. Make sure that the tools and fixtures (patterns, knives) are in good condition

2.4. Prepare the table for cutting.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. The cutter is obliged to perform only the work that the master has instructed.

3.2. During work, be attentive and not distract others from their duties.

3.4. Observe safety rules when laying individual units cut out according to the patterns from the storage material.

3.5. Check the condition of the shelving.

3.6. Waste material after cutting according to patterns should be collected in a special box and protected from fire.

3.7. When using scissors, their size should correspond to the size of the hands.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In case of an emergency, stop work, leave the danger zone, if necessary, remove people nearby.

4.2. In the event of a fire, immediately call the fire brigade by phone 01, take people to a safe place. Report the fire to management.

4.3. Provide first aid to victims in case of injury and call an ambulance or send the victim to a first-aid post, inform the head.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Tidy up the workplace.

5.2. Work areas must be thoroughly cleaned.

5.3. Remove and put away protective clothing and other protective equipment in the place provided for this.

And since sugar does not dissolve in ice, the less water, the more sugar dissolved in it, which means that it remains in this state until the temperature drops a little more.

It follows from this: if your goal is to make ice cream firmer, you simply use less sugar. Of course, now you have to balance the taste.

However, the researchers name another way to preserve the consistency. The key to stopping ice cream from melting at high temperatures will be "water retention". This can be done with modified starch, which can wrap water and fat around and give them stability.

The benefit of this approach, rather than trying to take the sugar away, he says, is that the starch won't necessarily change the flavor of the ice cream, since most starches are soluble and won't detract from the flavor.
