Safe Operation

1. General safety requirements

1.1. Physically healthy people who do not have medical contraindications, who have undergone industrial training, introductory and primary instruction at the workplace, and must also undergo hygienic training and pass a test once every 1 years according to the established program, should be allowed to work on the thermostat.

1.2. Personnel working on the thermostat must know:

  • devices, design, principle of operation and rules of technical operation
  • thermostat;
  • the main types of malfunctions of this equipment, ways to eliminate them;
  • internal labor regulations.

1.3. Personnel admitted to work must be provided and familiarized against signature with the instruction on labor protection

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Wear the proper attire.

2.2. Check the presence and serviceability of the grounding of the thermostat and make sure that it is in good condition and test it at idle, if damage or malfunction is found, notify the management.

2.3. Check that the aisles are not obstructed.

2.4. To ensure safe operation, it is necessary to carry out a weekly preventive inspection of devices and equipment that do not have a regulated maintenance period.

2.5. Movable and rotating parts of the equipment must have protective covers and guards that exclude the possibility of injury to operating personnel.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. Do only the work assigned to you

3.2. Be careful not to distract yourself and do not distract others from work.

3.3. Do not allow unauthorized persons to operate the thermostat.

3.4. Start the thermostat in operation, making sure that there is no danger to others.

3.5. If a malfunction is detected in the operation of the thermostat, stop it, inform the master.

Turn on the thermostat, after troubleshooting, only in the presence of a master and a locksmith

3.6. Clean, wash, thermostat only when the equipment is completely stopped and the electric current is turned off.

3.7. Keep the workplace clean, clean up spilled liquids in a timely manner, and eliminate the slipperiness of the floor.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. If voltage is detected on the metal parts of the thermostat (sensation of electric current), the electric motor is running in two phases (humming), the ground wire is broken, you should stop the machine and immediately report this to the management.

4.2. If a malfunction is detected in the operation of the thermostat, a spontaneous stop, an accident, it is necessary to turn off the power supply, inform the responsible person about this and do not turn it on until the malfunction is eliminated.

4.3. In case of injury, contact the first-aid post and notify the management.

4.4. If a fire is detected, it is necessary to call the fire brigade by phone 01, notify the management.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Upon completion of work, all equipment and mechanisms are transferred to a position that excludes the possibility of their start-up by unauthorized persons, the power supply is turned off, the equipment is wiped.

Sanitization, disassembly, cleaning and washing are carried out only after disconnecting the equipment from the mains.

5.2. Take off overalls, report all remarks in the operation of the installation to your supervisor, do not repair the equipment yourself, take a shower.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Rose Transistor and Capacitor 05.03.2017

Scientists at Linköping University have figured out how to infiltrate a living rose with conductive polymers, non-invasively, and make a capacitor out of it.

This became a practical application of the same group's discovery made two years earlier. In November 2015, they published an article in the journal Science Advances in which they described how to force a rose to absorb a conductive polymer solution. The hydrogel was formed in the stem of the flower and formed "wires", so if you add electrodes at its two ends and a gate in the middle, you get a transistor.

Now this development has taken a material form - the material developed by Roger Gabrielson is formed inside the flower, and then the current of internal fluids helps to create wires, not only in the trunk, but throughout the plant, down to the leaves and petals.

“We charged the rose hundreds of times without losing capacity,” said Eleni Stavrinidou, a member of the development team. “And the capacity is comparable to the capacity of supercapacitors. The plant could, without any optimization, power our magnetic discharge pump and various sensors ". In addition to supplying energy to sensors and switches, it is theoretically possible to even create a fuel cell inside plants.
