4.5. The worker must be able to provide first aid. Such assistance is provided immediately, directly at the scene and in the following sequence: first you need to eliminate the energy source of injury (switch off the engine, stop the mechanism, remove the victim from under the car, a heavy object, etc.).

Assistance should begin with the most significant that threatens life or health (in case of severe bleeding, apply a tourniquet, and then bandage the wound; if a closed fracture is suspected, apply a splint; with open fractures, first bandage the wound and then apply a splint; in case of burns, apply a dry bandage ; in case of frostbite, gently rub the affected area using soft or fluffy tissues). If spinal injury is suspected, transport the victim only in the supine position on a rigid base.

4.6. After providing first aid, the victim should be sent to the nearest medical facility.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Turn off equipment. Wait for it to come to a complete stop. Tidy up the workplace: remove tools, fixtures; clean the machine from dirt and dust; wipe and lubricate the rubbing parts of the machine; neatly fold the finished parts and the remaining material.

5.2. Cleaning of wood waste (sawdust, shavings, dust) from the surface of the equipment, as well as from overalls, is carried out with a brush, sweep or using vacuum cleaners.

It is unacceptable to blow the machine and clothes with compressed air.

5.3. Rags used during work and when cleaning, put the rags in a special metal box with a closing lid and take it outside the workshop to a specially designated place.

5.4. Wash hands with warm water and soap.

5.5. Report all noticed shortcomings in the operation of the equipment to the shift worker or foreman.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

SMS for trolleybuses 03.01.2014

The company Mobile TeleSystems (MTS) announced the introduction of an SMS-coordination system for public transport in the Khabarovsk Territory based on MTS services. The project was implemented jointly with the tram and trolleybus department of Khabarovsk.

The operational information system is part of a single project for monitoring the urban passenger transport of Khabarovsk. Now the system of SMS-informing about the situation on the roads is used to coordinate the work of over 100 public transport units in Khabarovsk and allows you to send up to 10 messages per month. Thanks to the transition of all tram and trolleybus management services to the SMS service, employees are promptly informed about the load and emergency situations in the operation of the tram and trolleybus fleet, which allows them to make prompt decisions about optimizing the number of cars depending on passenger traffic, draw up an optimal schedule, and warn about emergencies .

"Modern technologies allow not only to optimize the operation of urban transport infrastructure, reduce maintenance costs and increase control, but also make the urban environment more convenient for residents. Today, a total of more than 1400 vehicles and equipment of municipal enterprises, as well as public passenger transport all forms of ownership are equipped with GLONASS/GPS terminals. The use of innovations in the operation of the urban transport system is fully justified, as they allow you to control fuel consumption, speed, route of movement and ensure increased comfort and safety of passengers.

Simultaneous use of transport monitoring services and personnel information services allows creating a harmonious system in which the work of automation is complemented by the expertise of drivers,” said Andrey Slobodenyuk, head of the transport department of the Khabarovsk Administration.

Through MTS mobile communication channels, information about the location of passenger transport is transmitted online to the server of the monitoring system. Information about the location of the vehicle is broadcast from the server of the navigation information center to the Internet and is available in mobile applications, allowing smartphone owners to find out the arrival time of the desired vehicle at the nearest stop.

Simultaneous use of M2M (machine-to-machine) services and SMS-informing personnel in trams and trolleybuses makes it possible to increase the efficiency of rolling stock use due to the rapid exchange of information and response to the situation.
