1.7. The operator must:

  • maintain the correct mode of HVO;
  • at least 1 time per hour to make a tour and inspection of all HVO equipment;
  • regulate the performance of the water treatment plant so that the deaerator always has the necessary supply of water;
  • regenerate filters, strictly adhering to the established regeneration mode, record the regeneration time in the log;
  • take measurements and record in the journal the results of analyzes and indications.

1.8. Extraordinary examination of knowledge is carried out:

  • when new instructions come into force;
  • after an accident and an accident on the HVO equipment;
  • when establishing the facts of unsatisfactory knowledge of the instructions and safety rules by the apparatchik.

2.2. If there is an emergency situation or a responsible switchover by the time of delivery, the shift will be accepted and handed over at the end of these operations.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. According to the existing scheme, the source water is softened using sodium cation exchange filters and supplied to the deaerator.

3.2. The source of water supply is artesian water.

3.3. The regeneration salt solution is prepared in a measuring tank.

3.4. To carry out all operations, the HVO is equipped with the following equipment:

  • sodium cationite filters;
  • salt wet storage plant;
  • atmospheric deaerator;
  • KIP.

3.4. For the production of loosening the filter, it is necessary:

  • disconnect the filter from the line;
  • slowly open valve No. 1 and flush the cation exchanger;
  • loosening is carried out for 15 minutes;
  • at the end of loosening, close all necessary valves.

3.5. After this, regenerate the filter with a 5-10% solution of table salt.

3.6. At the end of regeneration, wash the cation exchanger.

3.7. At the end of washing, the filter is put into operation.

3.8. When servicing HVO equipment, comply with the following safety requirements:

  • keep drainage channels closed with corrugated iron;
  • to work inside the filter, the latter must be disconnected from all pipelines by closing the valves and gate valves; the work must be performed by at least 2 people;
  • sampling time and hot water is carried out only in metal dishes or porcelain mugs from working valves;

  • utensils for storing acid or alkali should have a clear inscription about the contents;
  • glass bottles with acids and alkalis should be placed in baskets lined with straw or hay;
  • personnel working with strong acids and alkalis must be instructed on their properties;
  • when diluting acid or alkali, remember that acid or alkali is poured into water, and not vice versa.

3.9. The workplace of the HVO operator is the entire room in which the equipment and communications necessary for obtaining softened water are located, as well as the adjacent territory, if tanks - batteries and shut-off and control valves are located on it.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In the event of a fire in the HVO premises, take measures to eliminate it with primary fire extinguishing means, call the fire brigade, notify the management.

4.2. In case of burns, it is necessary to free the affected area from clothing, shoes. Bandage the burnt surface with a sterile bandage and contact a medical institution. Notify the head of the boiler room.

4.4. In case of electric shock, first of all, release the victim from the action of electric current (disconnect the equipment from the mains, separate the victim from current-carrying parts with insulating devices (boards, dry clothes, rubber gloves, rubber mats). If the victim has lost consciousness, but breathes, he must be laid in a comfortable position, unfasten the collar, give fresh air.If there is no breathing, the pulse is not palpable, the victim should immediately start artificial respiration, preferably by the mouth-to-mouth method, until the doctor arrives.

5. Security measures at the end of work.

5.1. Tidy up the workplace, make the necessary entries in the shift journal.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>
