1.1. General safety requirements are set out in the Instruction "General safety requirements for professions and types of work in furniture production".

1.2. Dangerous and harmful production factors: moving machines and mechanisms, moving parts of production equipment, moving products, blanks, materials; increased noise level in the workplace.

Sources of occurrence of factors: a rotating cutter, poor-quality manufacturing of a cutting tool; insufficient fixing of the cutter or the material being processed; milling operation.

Action factors: the possibility of contact with the cutting tool; the possibility of breakage and lunge of the cutter; the possibility of part departure from the template; negative impact of noise on the hearing organs.

1.3. Personal protective equipment: cotton suit; goggles; hearing protection.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Check the sharpness of sharpening, make sure that there are no cracks, notches.

2.4. Make sure the guards are in good condition.

2.5. Monitor the serviceability of electrical equipment, braking and grounding devices.

2.6. Check the serviceability of the starting devices by short-term switching on.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. When processing boards according to the copier, the dimensions of the pins for the copiers must be set in each individual case in accordance with the dimensions of the boards.

3.2. Monitor the secure fastening of the workpieces to be processed in the template.

3.3. The feed of the copier template should be carried out smoothly, without jerks, and slow down at the exit of the part, as well as in the presence of knots and inclination of the fibers.

3.5. Do not process workpieces with falling knots, large cracks, rot.

3.6. Inspection, cleaning, wiping, checking the quality of processing of parts, fixing fences, manual removal of waste from the machine should be carried out when it is completely stopped.

3.7. If there is a knock, vibration, change in the nature of the noise, overheating of the cutting tool, turn off the machine and inform the foreman (foreman).

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. Turn off equipment.

4.2. Post a table about the malfunction of the machine or equipment and report this to the direct management.

4.3. In the event of a fire or extinguishing a flame, use a nearby fire extinguisher.

4.4. The victim or bystander must notify the appropriate work manager of each accident or poisoning.

4.5. The worker must be able to provide first aid. Assistance should begin with the most significant that threatens life or health (in case of severe bleeding, apply a tourniquet, and then bandage the wound; if a closed fracture is suspected, apply a splint; with open fractures, first bandage the wound and then apply a splint; for burns, apply a dry bandage , in case of frostbite, gently rub the affected area using soft or fluffy tissues). If spinal injury is suspected, transport the victim only in the supine position on a rigid base.

4.6. After providing first aid, the victim should be sent to the nearest medical facility.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food.
