General safety requirements are set out in the Instruction "General safety requirements for professions and types of work in furniture production". 1.2. Characteristics of dangerous and harmful production factors 1.2.1. Moving machines and mechanisms; moving parts of production equipment; moving products, blanks, materials. The source of the factor: clamping devices. Action of the factor: the possibility of clamping the worker's hands with a clamp. 1.2.2. Increased dust and gas content in the air of the working area. The source of the factor: vapors of harmful substances in the air of the working area. Action factor: the possibility of poisoning, disease. 1.2.3. Increased or decreased temperature of the surfaces of equipment, materials. Source of the factor: heating element. Action factor: the possibility of burns in contact with the heating element. 1.2.4. Dangerous chemical and harmful production factors penetrating through the skin. Sources: resins, adhesives. Action factor: the possibility of contact with harmful substances. 1.3. Personal protective equipment: cotton apron; cotton suit. 2. Safety requirements before starting work 2.1. Check the serviceability of: compressed air supply devices; clamping devices; fastening of hoses, fitting clamps; electric heating elements; asbestos gaskets; signal lamp; glue applicator; devices and tools for removing overhangs; local suctions. 3. Safety requirements during work 3.1. Lubricate hands with paste or cream before starting work. Apply glue to parts with rubber gloves. 3.2. Compressed air should be supplied after the part is clamped with a special tool. 3.3. Do not adjust the part to be veneered after it has been clamped and the heating has been switched on. 3.4. Do not touch the electric heating elements while the heating is on. 3.5. Monitor the cleanliness of the electric heating elements and systematically clean them of glue. 3.6. Follow the warning light. After turning off the wyma, the signal lamp turns off automatically. 3.7. Overhangs after facing are removed on a special device. 3.8. Do not perform work when local exhausts and supply and exhaust ventilation are turned off. 4. Safety requirements in emergency situations 4.1. Turn off equipment. 4.2. Post a table about the malfunction of the machine or equipment and report this to the direct management. 4.3. In the event of a fire or extinguishing a flame, use a nearby fire extinguisher. 4.4. The victim or bystander must notify the appropriate work manager of each accident or poisoning. 4.5. The worker must be able to provide first aid. Such assistance is provided immediately, directly at the scene and in the following sequence: first you need to eliminate the energy source of injury (switch off the engine, stop the mechanism, remove the victim from under the car, a heavy object, etc.). Assistance should begin with the most significant that threatens life or health (in case of severe bleeding, apply a tourniquet, and then bandage the wound; if a closed fracture is suspected, apply a splint; with open fractures, first bandage the wound and then apply a splint; in case of burns, apply a dry bandage ; in case of frostbite, gently rub the affected area using soft or fluffy tissues). If spinal injury is suspected, transport the victim only in the supine position on a rigid base. 4.6. After providing first aid, the victim should be sent to the nearest medical facility. 5. Safety requirements at the end of work 5.1. Turn off equipment. Wait for it to come to a complete stop. Tidy up the workplace: remove tools, fixtures; clean the machine from dirt and dust; wipe and lubricate the rubbing parts of the machine; neatly fold the finished parts and the remaining material. 5.2. Cleaning of wood waste (sawdust, shavings, dust) from the surface of the equipment, as well as from overalls, is carried out with a brush, sweep or using vacuum cleaners. It is unacceptable to blow the machine and clothes with compressed air. 5.3. Rags used during work and when cleaning, put the rags in a special metal box with a closing lid and take it outside the workshop to a specially designated place. 5.4. Wash hands with warm water and soap. 5.5. Report all noticed shortcomings in the operation of the equipment to the shift worker or foreman.
