1. General requirements for labor protection

This instruction is mandatory when performing work on the mechanical cleaning of ice using MOG-6 installed on a railcar, car, platform UP-2.

The work is carried out without an order from the energy dispatcher, but with notification of the place of work, by a team of at least two people, one of whom must have group V, and the second - IV, the driver - group III.

In the dark time of the day, the place of work should be illuminated -6 m.

The speed of the railcar, railcar, platform with the MOG-6 device should not exceed 20-60 km/h.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

Before starting work, the electrical circuit is assembled in the following sequence:

check whether the switches in the driver's cab of the railcar, railcar, platform and on the unit panel are turned off;
connect the plug to the socket, check the connection of the cable to the electric motor, the isolated transformer and to the panel of the unit, also inspect it for mechanical damage;
check the grounding of the housing of the isolation transformer and the gasoelectric unit;
start the benzoelectric unit of the power plant;
in dielectric gloves, turn on the package switch on the unit panel, after which they turn on the package switch in the cab of the trolley;
before entering the line, the direction of rotation of the drum is checked; it should not coincide with the direction of rotation of the wheels of the trolley. They inspect the inclined frame of the vibrating drum, determine its pressure on the contact wire (70-140 N), check the integrity of the insulator or insulating insert, the reliability of fixing the rod and cable in the connecting nodes, the condition of the control handles, lifting and lowering the MOG frame.

3. Safety requirements during work

Mechanical cleaning of wires from ice by the MOG installation should be carried out in protective helmets, goggles and dielectric gloves.

Raising the vibrator to the working position and lowering it into the transport position should be carried out from the cab of the railcar, railcar or cab placed on the platform.

During the operation of the unit, it is forbidden to be on the platform of the railcar or railcar under the vibrator, as well as on the working isolated platform of railcars, railcars.

Climbing to the working isolated platform is allowed only when the vibrator is lowered and not working, in compliance with the safety measures provided for when working from insulating working platforms of the railcar railcar under voltage.

During the parking of the railcar, railcar, the beaters of the working vibrating drum are not allowed to come into contact with the contact wire, as this can lead to wire breakage. When passing through the sectional insulators, air gunners, the MOG installation is lowered, after the passage it is raised.

Monitor the normal operation of the benzoelectric unit.

4. Safety requirements at the end of work

At the end of the work, give notice to the ECC.

Remove fragments of icing from the deck of the railcar, railcar.

Upon arrival at the deployment site, inspect the MOG, isolation transformer insulators, insulated plates and shafts. Clean the insulating tower from fragments of icing.

5. Safety requirements in emergency situations

In all cases of emergencies, as well as when damaged insulation of rods or insulators is detected at the MOG-type installation, it is necessary to immediately stop work, carry out repairs and conduct an extraordinary electrical test.

Immediately report the emergency situation to the energy dispatcher.

In case of an accident, take measures to release the victim and provide first aid, inform the energy dispatcher and the medical facility.

The new technology allows to increase the maximum number of rewrite cycles in flash memory from 10 thousand to 100 million. Scientists from the company Macronix, located in Taiwan's city of Hsinchu, have developed a technology that can save flash memory from the effect of aging.

The aging effect is one of the shortcomings of flash memory, which, along with other factors - primarily cost - prevents its mass distribution. The fact is that the constant exposure to high voltage cells wears them out, and over time they lose the ability to take on a clear logical state.

Modern flash memory loses its ability to reliably store information after 10 rewrite cycles. In the case of a USB stick, which is also based on flash memory, this does not matter due to the generally short lifespan. However, for SSD drives that laptops are equipped with, this is important, since the life of a computer can be several years. This indicator is even more important for corporate data storage systems with a high load.

With the goal of improving the viability of flash memory, scientists turned their attention to a type of memory based on the phase state of matter. In phase memory, a cell changes its conductivity when heated. The researchers found that similar heating of a cell in flash memory has a recovery effect.

Following this discovery, the scientists modified the conventional flash memory chip by adding tiny heaters for groups of cells. By heating the cells to 800°C for a few milliseconds, they were able to extend their life cycle. According to Macronix spokesman Hang-Ting Lue, under laboratory conditions, they were able to extend the life of flash memory up to 100 million write cycles. But the company claims that the theoretical limit could be as high as 1 billion cycles. Researchers have not yet had the opportunity to understand this limit, as testing will take several months.
