1.2. The doorman can be affected by dangerous and harmful production factors (low air temperature in the working area; increased air mobility; increased voltage in the electrical circuit when advertising lighting and thermal curtains are turned on and off).

1.3. The porter notifies his immediate supervisor of any situation that threatens the life and health of people, of each accident that occurred at work, of the deterioration of his health, including the manifestation of signs of an acute illness.

1.4. The doorman should:

  • leave outerwear, shoes, headgear, personal items in the dressing room;
  • before starting work, put on clean uniforms;
  • do not eat at the workplace.

3. 2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Check by external inspection:

  • condition of floors (lack of slipperiness, spilled dusty substances, spilled water and other liquids; durability of carpet and floor coverings to the floor);
  • sufficiency of illumination of the vestibule, serviceability of entrance doors.

2.2. Check the operation of advertising lighting and (in the cold season) the serviceability of thermal curtains.

2.3. Inspect the sidewalk in front of the entrance to the building, the steps of the stairs and demand (if necessary) garbage collection, and in winter snow and ice.

2.4. Notify the immediate supervisor about the detection of a malfunction of entrance doors, thermal curtains, advertising and general lighting, electrical wiring.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. Perform only the work for which he has been instructed in labor protection and for which the employee responsible for the safe performance of work is admitted.

3.2. Do not delegate your work to third parties.

3.3. If there is a suspicion that the visitor has weapons or other objects dangerous to the surroundings, demand to present a suspicious object for inspection or call the police squad (guards).

3.4. Follow:

  • serviceability of entrance doors;
  • cleanliness and order in the lobby;
  • serviceability and timeliness of turning on and off thermal curtains, general, local and advertising lighting.

If necessary, require: cleaning the floor (fixing the flooring); cleaning fixtures; timely replacement of burnt out lamps; repair of thermal curtains.

3.5. In the cold season, take timely measures to ensure that the sidewalk and steps at the entrance are cleared of snow and ice, sprinkled with anti-slip materials.

Require timely chipping of the formed icicles above the entrance to the building.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In the event of a power failure, a break in heating pipelines, call the appropriate specialized emergency team by phone.

4.2. In case of injury, poisoning and sudden illness, the victim should be provided with first (pre-medical) aid and, if necessary, his delivery to a healthcare facility should be organized.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

Turn off the electric lighting and reliably de-energize the vestibule using a breaker or a device that replaces it.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Self-propelled pants 23.08.2003

At the Japanese University of Tsukubo (province of Iboroki), self-propelled pants have been invented that relieve a person from fatigue while walking by automatically rearranging his legs.

The device consists of a pore of flat "legs" fixed along the limbs of a person, and a control unit packed in a backpack. The total mass of these additional devices is 17 kg, however, a person practically does not feel their heaviness due to the fact that he does not waste energy on steps. The built-in microprocessor, using special sensors, captures the brain signals sent to make movements, and transmits them to artificial "legs".

The invention is intended primarily for infirm people and patients who are recovering from injuries. It can also be used to work in a disaster area and during sports training.
