3.9. The package should be formed by rolling the boards, observing the geometric dimensions, not allowing individual boards to go beyond the dimensions of the package and stops of the trolleys, and the top row along the edges should be reduced by two boards on each side.

3.10. Between stacks of lumber, the distance should be at least 0,7 m.

3.11. Stacking of raw sawn timber at the storage site should be carried out on a gasket with a square section of at least 100x100 mm.

3.12. When moving a forklift truck with lumber, the lumber stacker must not be in the path of its movement.

3.13. When laying gaskets under a lumber package, do not be in the danger zone, especially when the package is lifted by a forklift.

3.14. The packages of lumber fed to the bag forming machine must be placed on the receiving platform so that the end of the package coincides with the straightening line of the supply chain conveyor.

3.15. Avoid blockages at the miter saw.

3.16. Do not operate if the saw guard is missing or defective. The use of saws with uncut, incorrectly set, broken teeth, wingedness and cracks on the discs is not allowed.

3.17. Do not correct a jammed uncut board until the saw has stopped.

3.18. Removal of gaskets on a bag forming machine stuck on an inclined lift, correction of knocked-down boards on a conveyor and on a formed bag must be carried out using a special hook. When cleaning the pit of the inclined lift from debris, foreign objects and snow, it is necessary to fix the felling platform with a latch.

3.19. When forming a drying stack of lumber on a vertical lift, the end stops must be closed with a special hook.

3.20. Before lifting the lift from the stack of lumber, open a special hook, turn the end stops by 30-40 ° from the initial position, and then turn on the lift.

3.21. Rolling stacks manually is prohibited.

3.22. When placing trolleys, push them away from you.

3.23. Inter-row piercings must correspond to the dimensions of 25x40x1800 mm.

3.24. It is forbidden to be directly near them during the lifting of the trolleys, to perform any operations.

3.25. Before transferring a pack of boards by trolleys to and from the traverse trolley, the rail heads coming out of the loading area and drying chambers must be positioned exactly against the rail heads on the trolley.

3.26. To prevent spontaneous movement of packages with trolleys, they should be fixed on the rails with shoes or other braking devices. It is forbidden to use fragments of boards or spacers for braking.

3.27. When moving the traverse trolley, give a signal, make sure that there are no people and do not allow people and objects to interfere with its movement in its path.

3.28. When moving trolleys with a package and a traverse trolley, you should move away from them at a distance of at least 3 m, while it is forbidden to be in the danger zone of the moving rope and guide block.

3.31. Before moving the package to the traverse trolley to the drying chamber, make sure that the hook of the middle trolley is hooked and that there are no people in the way.

3.32. During the movement of the package with boards on the trolleys, make sure that the trolleys do not derail from the rails. In case of detection of a warp and the beginning of the ramps of the trolleys from the rails, immediately turn off the winch and take measures to prevent the collapse of the package. When rolling the stack into the chamber, it is not allowed to turn it around.

3.33. Make sure that the rope is correctly positioned in the block. In the event of a cable coming out of the block stream, turn off the winch, loosen the rope and insert it into the block.

3.34. It is forbidden for anyone to be in the bending zone of the cable and blocks and along the entire length of its tension.

3.40. When forming a package of dried lumber, the worker involved in the management of the bag forming machine should be at the push-button station at the time of dumping the lumber.

It is allowed to leave the push-button station for lumber adjustment only after the lumber has been dumped onto the chain conveyor and stopped.

3.41. When rolling the stack onto the unraveling machine, make sure that the legs of the hoist descend evenly.

4.4. The victim or eyewitness must notify the work manager of each accident.

4.5. The worker must be able to provide first aid. Such assistance is provided immediately, directly at the scene and in a certain sequence. First you need to eliminate the source of injury (turn off the engine, stop the mechanism, remove the victim from under the lumber, etc.).

The provision of assistance must begin with the most significant that threatens the health or life of a person. After providing first aid, the victim should be sent to the nearest medical facility.

4.6. If a fire or fire is detected, immediately report it to the fire department, start extinguishing the fire using fire extinguishing equipment available at the workplace, and take measures to call the head of the fire to the place of fire.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Free taxi powered by ads 03.02.2014

It seems that self-driving cars have nothing to do with Google's core business of selling ads, but the search giant recently filed an interesting patent describing an ad-driven taxi service.

The idea is that advertisers can offer their potential customers a free ride to the store. This will solve one of the biggest problems retailers face: getting consumers to shop. The system will offer a free or discounted ride based on an algorithm that calculates the travel costs and the potential profit from the purchase.

The concept involves free tickets for taxis, public transport or even self-driving cars. Ads will be shown to a person through a smartphone (based on location data) or through a stationary kiosk in a public place. Advertising, of course, will be extremely targeted. In the case of a smartphone, Google will automatically identify the user, while in the case of a kiosk, you will have to enter your Google+ credentials. The system will track the frequency of a person's use of discounted transport for real purchases, and if the user does not buy goods too often after such a service, there may not be a discount next time.

The patent also provides for the ability to share information about your interests and companions. For example, two adults might want to have lunch somewhere, and an adult with a child might want to head to a family vacation spot. Advertisers will provide different offers based on user profile data and purchase history.

It is not clear whether Google plans to implement such systems in the near future, or whether we are talking more about the era of autopiloted vehicles. It is important to note that the patent is filed by a division of Google that is working on the development of autopilot for cars.
