  • increased dust content and gas contamination of the working area;
  • location of workplaces near a height difference of 1,3 m or more;
  • sharp edges, burrs and roughness on the surfaces of equipment and materials;
  • increased voltage in the electrical circuit, the short circuit in which can pass through the human body.

3. To protect against mechanical impacts, facings are required to use provided by employers free of charge: cotton overalls, combined mittens, suits with insulating padding and felt boots for the winter period of the year.

When on site, tilers must wear safety helmets.

In addition, when processing stones, a respirator and goggles should be used, and when working with acid, rubber boots, gloves and aprons should be used.

Admission of unauthorized persons, as well as employees in a state of intoxication to these places is prohibited.

h) when cleaning surfaces with metal brushes or other tools and devices, use goggles, and when working with acid - a solution of no more than 5% concentration;

i) use a hand-held electrified tool with double insulation.

11. Work with the use of acid should be carried out in goggles, as well as in rubber boots, gloves and an apron. The solution must be prepared by pouring acid into water. Rooms where work was carried out with the use of acid must be ventilated.

12. Coverers working with hand-held electric machines must have group I for electrical safety and group II when working with hand-held electric machines of class 1 in rooms with increased danger.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Noctua Cooling Systems with Active Noise Canceling Technology 12.06.2014

Noctua produces some of the most technologically advanced cooling systems for PCs. For example, one of the latest developments of the manufacturer is fans covered with flock. One of the most interesting directions can be called the creation of a cooler with an active noise reduction system. There is nothing new in this technology, it has long been used in many areas, in particular when creating headphones.

By the way, Noctua developed its own cooler with similar technology together with RotoSub. The prototype of the processor cooler was demonstrated last year. Now, according to the source, the company has entered the "finish line".

At the end of this year, the manufacturer has planned to start production of several devices with this technology. In particular, we are talking about both case fans and processor coolers. It is expected that in the first case, the cost of models will be one and a half or two times higher than conventional fans.

Appearances on sale should be expected early next year.
