To protect against general industrial pollution and mechanical impacts, drivers are required to use cotton overalls provided by employers free of charge, rubber boots, combined mittens, suits with insulating padding and felt boots for the winter period. Drivers must wear safety helmets when on site. 4. Being on the territory of the construction (production) site, in production and amenity premises, work sites and workplaces, drivers are required to comply with the internal labor regulations adopted in this organization. Admission of unauthorized persons, as well as employees in a state of intoxication to these places is prohibited. 5. In the course of daily activities, drivers must:

Drivers are obliged to immediately notify their immediate or superior supervisor of any situation that threatens the life and health of people, about each accident that occurred at work, or about the deterioration of their health, including the appearance of an acute occupational disease (poisoning). Safety requirements before starting work 7. Before starting work, the driver must: a) present to the work manager a certificate of checking the knowledge of safe work methods, receive an assignment and be instructed at the workplace on the specifics of the work performed; b) put on overalls and special footwear of the established sample. 8. After receiving the task, the driver must: a) check the workplace and approaches to it for compliance with safety requirements and remove unnecessary items. In winter, the site where the compressor is located must be cleared of snow and ice, and in case of ice - sprinkled with sand; b) make sure that the shields protecting the moving parts of the compressor mechanisms are present and in good condition, check the serviceability of all its pressure gauges and safety valves; c) check the presence and level of oil in the gearbox and air filters of the compressor, as well as the presence and serviceability of protective grounding. 9. If the compressor is installed in a new location after its relocation, the driver must: a) together with the work manager, make sure that there are no hazardous production factors at the compressor installation site (from buildings under construction, working machines and mechanisms, slopes, pits and trenches); b) put the compressor on a flat horizontal platform and secure it by installing wheel chocks if the machine is on wheels; level with wedges if the machine is on skids; c) install switching equipment (knife switch) and unwind the electrical cable. The electrician on duty must connect the compressor to the network. It is forbidden for the driver to independently connect the compressor to the mains and to the grounding center; d) in the absence of a grounding network nearby, hammer in the rods of the inventory grounding device; e) lay hoses from the compressor to the work sites; e) check the machine's operability at idle. 10. Operation of the compressor is not allowed with the following violations of safety requirements: a) malfunctions specified in the manufacturer's instructions for the operation of the compressor, in which its use is not allowed; b) untimely carrying out of the next tests (technical examination) of the compressor and receiver; c) malfunctions of pressure gauges or safety valves in the compressor pneumatic system. Pressure gauges and safety valves must be tested and sealed in a timely manner; d) insufficient illumination of the workplace and approaches to it; e) the absence or malfunction of the protective grounding of the compressor housing; f) malfunctions of valves on the distributing comb. Detected violations of safety requirements and malfunctions of the compressor must be eliminated on their own, and if it is impossible to do this, the driver is obliged to report them to the work manager and the person responsible for maintaining the compressor in good condition. Safety requirements during work 11. During the operation of the compressor, the driver must: a) monitor the operation of the compressor and instrument readings, monitor the proper operation of all its mechanisms; b) monitor the pressure in the compressor pneumatic system; c) do not allow pressure in the pneumatic system of the compressor, the value of which exceeds the passport data. 11. The compressor driver is prohibited from: a) start the compressor engine at a pressure in the air receiver above atmospheric; b) connect hoses directly to the line or instrument without valves on the line; c) prevent hoses from breaking, tangling and twisting, as well as contact with hot and oily surfaces; d) direct a jet of compressed air at yourself or at workers; e) sharply change the pressure in the pneumatic system; f) maintain the machine, including cleaning, adjusting or lubricating its individual parts while the compressor is running; g) repair individual mechanisms, air ducts or hose connections; h) leave the workplace with the engine running; i) connect the compressor and disconnect it from the network. The electrician on duty is obliged to connect and disconnect the electric cable, as well as the protective earth. 12. Connect or disconnect hoses to the air collector, air duct or pneumatic tool only when the valves on the air collector are closed. The hoses may only be connected using appropriate fittings and clamps. Open the valve on the compressor air collector smoothly, without jerks. 13. It is allowed to repair the compressor, as well as clean and lubricate its mechanisms only after turning off the power line, stopping the compressor and venting air from the receiver. At the same time, a sign "Do not turn on - people are working!" must be posted on the starting switch. Safety requirements in emergency situations 14. In the event of a malfunction of the compressor, its operation should be stopped. If it is not possible to eliminate the malfunctions on their own, then the driver is obliged to notify the work manager and the person responsible for maintaining the compressor in good condition about the incident. Starting the compressor after an emergency stop is allowed only with the permission of the person responsible for maintaining the compressor in good condition. 15. In case of ignition of lubricants or other materials, the driver is obliged to immediately start extinguishing the fires with a stationary carbon dioxide fire extinguisher and other available means. If it is impossible to do this on their own, the driver is obliged to call the fire brigade in the prescribed manner and inform the foreman and work manager. Safety requirements at the end of work 16. Upon completion of work, the compressor driver must: a) blow out the receiver, turn off the compressor, close the dispensing valves, turn off the electric motor, lock the starting switch; b) clean and lubricate the rubbing parts of the mechanisms, collect the hoses, clean them from dirt and put them in the place provided for storage; c) inform the work manager and the person responsible for maintaining the compressor in good condition about all the problems that have arisen during work.
