1. General safety requirements

1.1. On the basis of this standard instruction, an instruction on labor protection is developed for the cashier of the hall, taking into account the conditions of his work in a particular organization.

1.2. The cashier of the hall can be affected by dangerous and harmful production factors (increased air mobility; increased voltage in the electrical circuit; insufficient illumination of the working area; reduced contrast; direct and reflected brilliance; neuropsychological overload).

1.3. The cashier of the hall notifies his immediate supervisor of any situation that threatens the life and health of people, of each accident that occurred at work, of the deterioration of his health, including the manifestation of signs of an acute illness.

1.4. The hall cashier should:

  • leave outerwear, shoes, headgear, personal items in the dressing room;
  • before starting work, put on clean uniforms, change them as they get dirty;
  • wash hands with soap after using the toilet;
  • do not eat at the workplace.

2. Safety requirements before starting work

2.1. Before working on the cash register, check with an external inspection:

  • the stability of the machine on the table, the absence of external damage and foreign objects around the machine;
  • serviceability of the cable (cord) of the power supply, plugs, sockets;
  • availability and reliability of grounding connections (absence of breaks, strength of contact between the machine body and the ground wire). Do not start work in the absence or unreliability of grounding;
  • no pollution outside and inside the machine;
  • serviceability and stability of the lifting and swivel chair;
  • sufficient illumination of the working surface;
  • no blinding effect of light.

2.2. Before connecting the cash register to the electrical network, check the serviceability of the blocking devices.

2.3. Turn on the cash register in the electrical network and check its operation by receiving a zero check.

2.4. Make sure that the security call device (administration), the banknote detector, working and emergency lighting are working properly.

3. Safety requirements during work

3.1. Perform only the work for which he has been trained, instructed in labor protection and for which the employee responsible for the safe performance of work has been admitted.

3.2. Do not entrust your work to untrained and unauthorized persons.

3.3. Use serviceable equipment and tools necessary for safe work; use them only for the work for which they are intended.

3.4. Follow the rules of movement, use only the established passages.

3.5. Keep the workplace clean, do not store foreign objects, personal belongings in the cash box.

3.6. While working on the cash register:

  • comply with the safety requirements set forth in the operational documentation of the manufacturer;
  • connect the machine to the electrical network through a special socket, which must be grounded;
  • refueling (replacing) check and control tapes, adding paint to the dyeing mechanism only after disconnecting the machine from the mains;
  • remember that for machines with automatic cash drawer opening, during the issuance of the first check, under the action of a spring, the cash drawer is pushed out by at least one third of its length;
  • when stopping the machine for an unknown reason, as well as in case of sudden stop (stopping the machine with an incomplete work cycle), disconnect it from the power supply;
  • remove stuck scraps of receipt tape with tweezers.

3.7. Disconnect the cash register from the electrical network in case of a breakdown of electric current to the machine body.

3.8. When operating a cash register:

  • do not start work in the absence or malfunction of grounding (zeroing);
  • do not use fuses that are not rated for the current provided by the technical characteristics of this machine, do not connect the machine to the electrical network without a fuse (replace the fuse with a "bug");
  • do not come into contact with current-carrying devices, grounding buses, radiators, water pipes;
  • do not interfere with the operation of the machine after it has been turned on until the end of the working cycle;
  • do not work on the machine with the cover removed or the door of the check printing mechanism open.

4. Safety requirements in emergency situations

4.1. In an emergency: warn other people about the danger; report to the immediate supervisor about the incident and act in accordance with the emergency response plan.

4.2. In case of injury, poisoning and sudden illness, the victim should be provided with first (pre-medical) assistance and, if necessary, his delivery to a healthcare facility should be organized.

5. Safety requirements at the end of work

5.1. Perform maintenance of the cash register and prepare it for the next working day in accordance with the requirements of its operation manual. Disconnect the cash register from the electrical network.

5.2. Do not clean up garbage at the workplace directly with your hands, use brushes, shovels and other devices for this purpose.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

A new record for the duration of thermonuclear fusion 12.09.2022

An international group of researchers managed to keep thermonuclear fusion at a temperature of 100 million kelvins for 20 s. This is a new record.

Previously, scientists have been able to either reach such a high temperature, or keep the plasma for a long time. For several decades, scientists have been trying to create stable thermonuclear reactions for electricity. Although these studies have made some progress, the main goal of creating a sustainable process still remains far off.

The smallest deviations lead to instability that prevents the reaction from proceeding, the scientists explain. The biggest problem is related to the release of heat, which is measured in millions of degrees. No materials can hold such a hot plasma, so it levitates in a magnetic field.

Two approaches are used to control plasma: edge and internal transport barrier. In the first case, an external magnetic field prevents the plasma from escaping, and in the second, a high-pressure region at the center of the plasma keeps it under control. In their experiment, physicists used it.

The researchers note that the use of an internal transport barrier results in a denser plasma. This, in turn, makes it possible to achieve higher temperatures in the center. At the same time, the temperature is lower near the edges, which makes it possible to keep the plasma stable for a longer time.

The scientists plan to refine their installation, taking into account the results obtained in the experiment, in order to develop a system that will work stably for even longer.
