I. General Provisions

II. Official duties

The fuel supply equipment repairman performs the following job responsibilities:

  1. Dismantling, reconstruction, repair, fitting, assembly, adjustment and testing, reconstruction of complex fuel supply equipment assemblies.
  2. Locksmith processing of parts according to 6 - 7 qualifications (1 - 2 accuracy classes) with adjustment and fine-tuning.
  3. Accepts spare parts, welded and riveted joints manufactured according to drawings.
  4. Marking of especially difficult details.
  5. Checks the alignment of bearing housings, the geometric dimensions of metal structures, crane runways, conveyor guides, hoists, booms.
  6. Organizes work on the repair and adjustment of equipment and repair devices, lifting machines and mechanisms.
  7. Determination of the suitability of parts for further work, the possibility of their restoration.
  8. Checking the operation of the main and auxiliary equipment after repair and putting it into operation.
  9. Performing rigging work on moving, assembling, disassembling and installing especially complex and critical assemblies, parts and elements of equipment.

III. Rights

The mechanic for the repair of fuel supply equipment has the right to:

  1. Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise relating to its activities.
  2. Participate in the discussion of issues related to the performance of his duties.
  3. Make suggestions for improving the work related to the provisions of this instruction.
  4. Within its competence, report to the management about all identified in the course of its activities, and make proposals for their elimination.
  5. Require management to assist in the performance of their duties.

IV. A responsibility

The fuel supply equipment repairman is responsible for:

  1. For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties, as well as for non-use or directly to their rights provided for by this Job Description - to the extent determined by the current legislation of Ukraine.
  2. For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.

A method for spontaneous learning of memristor neural networks has been developed 24.03.2021

A new technology that can improve the learnability of artificial neural networks has been unveiled by an international team of researchers affiliated with the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) and Tsinghua University in China.

The proposed method exploits the "resistance drift" (rise in electrical resistance) of a phase change material in semiconductor memory during training. Information updates are recorded by increasing the electrical resistance in the memristor, which acts as a synapse and additionally takes into account the relationship between the changing template and the training data.

The effectiveness of this method was demonstrated using experimental phase change memristor (PCM) arrays that worked as a neural network. In tests to classify handwritten text consisting of numbers from 0 to 9, such devices showed the effect of improving learning ability by about 3%. In particular, the recognition accuracy of the number 8, which is traditionally difficult to classify in handwritten form, has significantly increased. The learning ability has improved due to the synapse update pattern, which changes depending on the complexity of the classification.

An important advantage of the new method is that the learnability can be improved without additional energy costs, since the resistance of the PCM increases spontaneously due to structural relaxation after the transition to the amorphous phase.

The researchers expect that their results will contribute to the development of learning algorithms that use the properties of memristor devices and open up a new direction in the development of neuromorphic computing chips.
