I. General Provisions

The driller belongs to the category of technical specialists.
Appointment to the position of a driller and dismissal from it is carried out by order of the head (owner) of the enterprise and reports directly to _______.
A person who has an initial professional education and special training in accordance with the established program is appointed to the position of a driller.
In his practical activities, the driller is guided by this Job Description and the orders of his immediate supervisor.
The driller must know:

techniques and methods of drilling;
purpose and arrangement of tools, fixtures, machines, mechanisms and equipment used in drilling operations;
rules and norms of labor protection, safety measures and industrial sanitation;
techniques and methods of providing first medical aid.

During the absence of the driller (illness, vacation, etc.), his duties are performed by a person appointed by order of the general director of the enterprise. This person acquires the appropriate rights and is responsible for the high-quality and timely performance of the duties assigned to him.

II. Official duties

Driller before the start of the working day:

undergoes periodic medical examinations in accordance with the established procedure;
undergoing safety training;
performs preparatory and preventive measures of technical means and equipment;

During the working day, the driller:

performs drilling work;
carries out maintenance and minor repairs of drilling equipment and tools;
if necessary, use personal protective equipment;
strictly observes the requirements of safety regulations and industrial sanitation;
immediately notifies his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings identified in the course of work.

III. Rights

The driller has the right:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to their official duties.
Submit proposals for the improvement of the work related to the duties provided for in this instruction for consideration by your immediate supervisor.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings identified in the course of the performance of official duties and make proposals for their elimination.

IV. A responsibility

The driller is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
