I. General Provisions

The head of the repair department reports directly to the executive director.
Appointment to the position of Head of the Repair Section and dismissal from it is made by order of the head of the enterprise in compliance with the requirements of the Labor Code of Ukraine.
Direct subordinates:

repair site mechanic;
lead electronics engineer of the repair site;
repair site adjusters;
mechanics-repairmen on the line of the repair site;
technicians for the operation and repair of equipment of the repair site;
repair site electronics engineers.

Must know:

decrees, instructions, orders, methodological, regulatory and other guidance materials on the maintenance and repair of equipment;
prospects for the technical development of the site, enterprise;
system of scheduled preventive maintenance and rational operation of process equipment;
organization of repair work and maintenance of equipment at the enterprise;
technical characteristics, design features and operational data of equipment and site;
procedure and methods for planning repairs;
repair systems and technology of repair work;
standards, technical conditions and instructions for maintenance, repair, installation and testing of equipment;
fundamentals of labor law.

In his work, the Head of the repair site is guided by:

an employment contract;
this Job Description;
legislative acts;
normative documents;
orders and directives from superiors.

Qualification requirements: complete or basic higher education in the relevant field of study.

II. Official duties

Head of repair department:

Manages the production and economic activities of the site for the repair and technological maintenance of equipment and inspection machines of the enterprise.
Participates in the development of long-term and annual plans for the repair of fixed assets of the enterprise.
Leads the work with the implementation of comprehensive service systems that ensure timely adjustment and repair, with the development and implementation of measures aimed at improving its operation.
Ensures the completion of planned tasks on time, the rhythmic operation of the repair area, and increased productivity of repair workers.
Organizes the development and communication to the performers (repair area mechanic, leading electronics engineer of the repair area) of planned tasks and repair schedules, control over repair work and testing of equipment, inspection machines, compliance with the rules of operation, maintenance and supervision of them.
Carrying out work to improve the organization of production, its technology, mechanization and automation of production processes, preventing defects and improving product quality.
Organizes work related to the development and implementation of standards, technical specifications and other regulatory materials for the operation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment.
Ensures the technically correct operation of equipment, inspection machines and other fixed assets and the implementation of their repair schedules, safe and healthy working conditions.
Participates in planning the technical development of production and modernization of equipment, inspection machines, in investigating the causes of increased wear, accidents of equipment and inspection machines and ensures the development of measures to prevent them.
Coordinates the work of the masters and services of the repair site.
Carries out the selection of employees, their placement and appropriate use.
Controls the observance by employees of the rules and norms of labor protection, production and labor discipline, internal labor regulations.
Presents proposals for rewarding employees, imposing disciplinary sanctions on violators of production and labor discipline, and carries out educational work in the team.

III. Rights

The head of the repair site has the right to:

Get acquainted with the draft decisions of the management of the enterprise regarding its activities.
Participate in the discussion of issues related to their official duties.
Submit proposals for the improvement of the work related to the duties provided for in this instruction for consideration by your immediate supervisor.
Within the limits of his competence, inform his immediate supervisor of all shortcomings identified in the course of the performance of official duties and make proposals for their elimination.

IV. A responsibility

The repair manager is responsible for:

For improper performance or non-performance of their official duties provided for by this Job Description - within the limits determined by the current labor legislation of Ukraine.
For offenses committed in the course of carrying out their activities - within the limits determined by the current administrative, criminal and civil legislation of Ukraine.
For causing material damage - within the limits determined by the current labor and civil legislation of Ukraine.
