In country conditions, especially if it is a new building and life has not yet been established, the proposed design will be as necessary as it is universal. Performed quickly and simply, it will faithfully serve not only at the beginning of the development of a summer cottage and the construction of a house, but also in the future: after all, a hammock is always a hammock, and when it becomes unnecessary in the house, it will come in handy outdoors, relaxing in the garden.

But the main thing is that he will help out, while real furniture has not yet appeared in a country new house, especially in his attic. Because you can make it right on the day of arrival at the dacha, even if you didn’t take care of it in advance: after all, even more simplified versions of its details are possible. For example, instead of a tarpaulin cloth, an old mattress topper is quite suitable, and instead of plank cross members, improvised ones are made from sticks or garden tool cuttings connected in pairs.

However, it is better, of course, to follow the design option shown in the figures. For him, first of all, you need a panel made of tarpaulin or strong fabric such as mattress or upholstery furniture, 2000x1080 mm in size. Along its longitudinal edges, a slot is bent and sewn under the frame rods - wooden poles with a diameter of 45-50 mm and a length of 2250 mm. Under them, the corresponding holes are drilled in the plank cross-spacers of the frame, 22x100x950 mm in size.

It remains to prepare the suspension - a strong rope (for example, twisted from linen). The length is twice as long as the suspension height. Its ends are closed in a loop as shown in the figure. It is better to make the size of the loop with a margin, so that for reliability it is put on the frame bar with a double ring (see Fig.). At the top, the ropes can be intercepted in the middle if they are threaded through the ring for hanging on one hook, like a cradle (see fig.). But it is better, of course (if conditions permit), to hang it on two "points": the position will be more stable.

Such a hammock bed has sufficient rigidity in the working position, and when disassembled it is convenient for storage or transportation.

Scientists at the Institute for the Development of Basic Sciences in South Korea have developed a patch for diabetics that monitors blood glucose levels and self-administers a sugar-lowering drug when needed.

An unusual device is a polymer patch with sensors for sweat, glucose, acidity and tremor, which make it possible to judge an increase or decrease in the content of glucose in the blood serum compared to the norm. The patch also contains microscopic needles filled with metformin, a sugar-lowering drug used to treat diabetes.

After being applied to the skin, the device collects the required amount of sweat within a few minutes and analyzes its biochemical parameters. If abnormalities are detected, the patient is given an injection of metformin. The sensors are made of graphene with small inclusions of gold to improve the electrochemical properties.
