Many villagers and gardeners have showers on their plots. As a rule, this is a small detached closed building with a tank on the roof. From it, cold water flows by gravity through a pipe to the shower screen. Of course, on a hot summer day it's nice to cool off under cool jets, but in spring or autumn, when it's fresh outside, not everyone decides on such water procedures.

To increase the "bathing season" will help the simplest device - a water heater. It can be mounted even on a finished shower installation.

First of all, it is necessary to change the water supply scheme: bring the pipes outside the shower cabin, since the heater with the heat exchanger is located on a shelf fixed on the outside of the side wall of the structure. An ordinary blowtorch is used as a heater. It is installed on a shelf so that the combustion chamber enters the heat exchanger coil. By changing the intensity of combustion and the supply of water, it is possible to regulate the temperature of the jets. In addition, the use of a blowtorch reduces the entire preparation of the installation for operation to 1-2 minutes.

From the tank located on the roof of the shower cabin, water is supplied through steel pipes with a diameter of 0,5 ". The outlet pipe is equipped with a shut-off valve, which serves to completely turn off the system during the installation of the heat exchanger. it regulates the flow of water.

The most complex element of the system is a heat exchanger, consisting of a coil and a casing. The coil is made of a steel pipe with a diameter of 0,5 ", twisted into a spiral of three turns. Outwardly, it looks like a thick compressed spring. To make the coils the same, it is convenient to wind a thin pipe onto a thicker one - 1,5" in diameter. The finished coil is inserted into the casing (pipe section) and fixed by welding. The free ends are bent up and connected to the main water supply at the couplings. Such a connection is very convenient, as it allows you to remove the heat exchanger for the winter so that the pipes do not burst.

Another version of the heating system is also possible - with a slightly enlarged heat exchanger, which makes it possible to heat water to higher temperatures. But in this case, when using, it is necessary to ensure the addition of cold water. To do this, the tank is equipped with an additional outlet pipe connected to the mixer, to which the pipe from the heat exchanger is also connected. The high temperature of hot water and the presence of a mixer greatly simplify the adjustment of the installation.

Throughout the design, the enlarged heat exchanger differs from the previous one in a six-turn coil and, accordingly, an elongated casing. It is better to use a standard faucet, such as in the bathrooms of city apartments. True, he still needs a little finishing: it is necessary to remove the flexible shower hose, and plug the hole with a stopper and install a short pipe with a shower net instead of a tap. If a standard mixer is not available, you will have to use a homemade one, which can be made from three pieces of pipe with a diameter of 0,5 "and one with a diameter of 1,5".
