Focus Description:

Handbags are removed from the hat.

Focus secret:

For the trick, you will need six folding bags in a straightened form (Fig. a).

а

Handbags are made of cardboard and covered with leather. Their sides are attached to the bottom of the bag by their lower parts and form a kind of flap that can be folded flat on the bottom of the bag (Fig. b). The ends of the ribbon that form the loop, or handle, of the bag pass freely through both holes in the top cover of the bag, and are tied to the ends at the corners. When the sides are folded, the handbag becomes a flat, oblong bag.

The corners are made of soft leather. Squeezing the sides in the direction indicated by the lines in Fig. c, the handbag takes the form as in fig. d, and being again folded, as in Fig. e, it will become a little larger than a pocket notebook.

Six bags are folded and placed in a black cloth bag or tied with a rubber ring and form a small pack that fits easily into a hat.

As you take the bags out of the bag, spread each one out to bring it into position, as in fig. d. Lifting the handbag from the bag by the tape, lift the edges and ends and return it to its shape (Fig. a).

Machine for thinning flowers in gardens 02.05.2024

In modern agriculture, technological progress is developing aimed at increasing the efficiency of plant care processes. The innovative Florix flower thinning machine was presented in Italy, designed to optimize the harvesting stage. This tool is equipped with mobile arms, allowing it to be easily adapted to the needs of the garden. The operator can adjust the speed of the thin wires by controlling them from the tractor cab using a joystick. This approach significantly increases the efficiency of the flower thinning process, providing the possibility of individual adjustment to the specific conditions of the garden, as well as the variety and type of fruit grown in it. After testing the Florix machine for two years on various types of fruit, the results were very encouraging. Farmers such as Filiberto Montanari, who has used a Florix machine for several years, have reported a significant reduction in the time and labor required to thin flowers. ... >>

Advanced Infrared Microscope 02.05.2024

Microscopes play an important role in scientific research, allowing scientists to delve into structures and processes invisible to the eye. However, various microscopy methods have their limitations, and among them was the limitation of resolution when using the infrared range. But the latest achievements of Japanese researchers from the University of Tokyo open up new prospects for studying the microworld. Scientists from the University of Tokyo have unveiled a new microscope that will revolutionize the capabilities of infrared microscopy. This advanced instrument allows you to see the internal structures of living bacteria with amazing clarity on the nanometer scale. Typically, mid-infrared microscopes are limited by low resolution, but the latest development from Japanese researchers overcomes these limitations. According to scientists, the developed microscope allows creating images with a resolution of up to 120 nanometers, which is 30 times higher than the resolution of traditional microscopes. ... >>

Air trap for insects 01.05.2024

Agriculture is one of the key sectors of the economy, and pest control is an integral part of this process. A team of scientists from the Indian Council of Agricultural Research-Central Potato Research Institute (ICAR-CPRI), Shimla, has come up with an innovative solution to this problem - a wind-powered insect air trap. This device addresses the shortcomings of traditional pest control methods by providing real-time insect population data. The trap is powered entirely by wind energy, making it an environmentally friendly solution that requires no power. Its unique design allows monitoring of both harmful and beneficial insects, providing a complete overview of the population in any agricultural area. “By assessing target pests at the right time, we can take necessary measures to control both pests and diseases,” says Kapil ... >>

LCD TVs with the ability to record to external network drives 28.11.2004

Toshiba has planned to release 32" and 37" LCD TVs that will support a host of features that are still more typical of a computer.

For example, for the first time it will be possible to record programs (and, accordingly, subsequent playback) on an external hard drive connected to a home network. In addition, recording is also provided on SD memory cards in MPEG-4 format, the ability to interact with digital cameras and surfing websites, which can be organized in a separate window without interrupting TV viewing. You can connect a keyboard to the USB port.

The implementation of all these and many other features is not surprising, given the use of an embedded Linux variant. Naturally, there is also a processor, which is only known to be 64-bit. Toshiba called its intelligent control system for the many functions of the TV "meta brain". As for "direct duties", it goes without saying for Japan that high-definition television (HDTV) is supported.

Four models will be offered to the market - two "basic" from the LZ100 series and two from the LZ150 series, with advanced networking capabilities. All of them should appear in early November.
