Focus Description:

Taking a deck of cards, the performer approaches the audience sitting in the front row. Having opened the deck with a fan, he offers to draw one card from it, but not show it to him. The spectator holds a card in his hand, and the performer, without looking at him, steps aside, thinks for a moment, and then unmistakably names the card that the spectator has drawn. The performer repeats this several times, passing to the middle and to the last rows of the auditorium.

Focus secret:

For the trick, you must have seven identical decks of cards. First you need to select three pieces of the same suit: tens of diamonds, queens of spades and aces of clubs. Thus, the performer will have seven aces of clubs, seven queens of spades and seven tens of diamonds in his hands. It remains to put them in one deck and remember the order in which they lie. Let's say there are aces of clubs at the bottom, queens of spades in the middle, and tens of diamonds at the top. This deck must be placed on the illusion table beforehand. Starting to demonstrate the trick, the performer takes this deck from the table in the same order in which it is folded - "shirt" up, and "pictures" down. Approaching the first row, he opens the top seven cards with a fan and invites the viewer to draw one of them.

Whatever card the spectator draws, it will turn out to be a ten of diamonds. But you can't call her right away. It is necessary to step aside, take a thoughtful pose, trying to convince the audience that guessing is not so easy. Then the performer unmistakably names the card and follows it to the viewer. The artist shows it to everyone sitting in the auditorium, allowing them to verify the correctness of the answer, and puts it on top of the deck (Fig. 61).

Now you can go to the middle rows of the auditorium, about tenth or fifteenth. Along the way, you need to prepare the cards by counting the top seven cards with your right hand - dozens of tambourines - and opening the next seven cards with a fan. The performer knows that these are the queens of spades, and offers them to the viewer. He draws a card, and the magician again accurately guesses it, respectively, beating, like the previous ten of diamonds.

The spectator returns the Queen of Spades to the deck, and the performer goes with her a little further into the auditorium. And if at first this trick was demonstrated on the left side of the hall, then you need to go to its right side so that other spectators also take part in it. Thus, the performer came to the end of this trick. With the last seven cards, the aces of clubs, it is already quite easy for the performer. Approaching the viewer, he opens them with a fan and does everything that was done with the previous figures.

In the future, you can add a few more figures if the performer has a good memory and has perfectly mastered the art of demonstrating this trick. It must be shown clearly, cleanly, without the slightest hesitation. You need to treat the audience easily, at ease. Keeping a deck of cards loose and simple.
