This device will be useful for those who have several rooms in the apartment, and there is only one telephone set (TA) and its call can not be heard from the next room or kitchen. The easiest way out of the situation may be to connect in parallel to the TL another call in another room from an old broken phone. The bell is connected in series with a 1 uF capacitor for an operating voltage of 160 V. But in this case, when dialing a phone number on the phone (when impulses are generated by the interrupter in the line), an additional bell will ring. The same will happen if two SLTs are connected in parallel to the line.

This is inconvenient, as it creates unnecessary noise, and if there are two SLTs in the apartment, then you can mistakenly pick up the phone, mistaking the ringing for a call signal. To get rid of this problem, the addition of the telephone circuit shown in Fig. 2.12. Shown are two simple options for eliminating "ringing". The devices do not require explanations and allow using the same electromechanical bell that is installed in the SLT.

The circuit draws power from the telephone line only during ringing. When using the version with a reed relay, it can be of the type RES55A RS4.569.601 (RS4.569.606) or RES55B RS4.569.626 (RS4.569.631).

The board topology for this circuit is shown in fig. 2.13. Capacitor C2 type K50-29 for 63V.

The scheme in fig. 2.14 eliminates the need for an electromechanical telephone call. The call signal in the form of an intermittent sound signal is created by the BF1 piezoelectric emitter (any type). The circuit consists of two generators assembled on a D1 chip of the 561LE5 (or 561LA7) type, a signal amplifier based on the VT1 transistor of the KT940A (KT630B) type, and a ZGI piezoelectric emitter (or similar).

The diode matrix VD1 can be replaced by four diodes of the KD102A type. Resistors and capacitors will fit any type.

Nowadays, many have phones with push-button dialing and a piezo call. A typical diagram of such a ringing device (bell) is shown in fig. 2.15. Using a small improvement shown in the figure will eliminate ringing when dialing a number on a parallel SLT.

With proper assembly and serviceable parts, all configuration schemes do not require.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

Petgugu Global cat litter 15.04.2024

Taking care of pets can often be a challenge, especially when it comes to keeping your home clean. A new interesting solution from the Petgugu Global startup has been presented, which will make life easier for cat owners and help them keep their home perfectly clean and tidy. Startup Petgugu Global has unveiled a unique cat toilet that can automatically flush feces, keeping your home clean and fresh. This innovative device is equipped with various smart sensors that monitor your pet's toilet activity and activate to automatically clean after use. The device connects to the sewer system and ensures efficient waste removal without the need for intervention from the owner. Additionally, the toilet has a large flushable storage capacity, making it ideal for multi-cat households. The Petgugu cat litter bowl is designed for use with water-soluble litters and offers a range of additional ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Wheat breeding has led to a decrease in its resistance 02.01.2019

Food security is largely determined by the yield of major crops. Climate change leads to changes in the weather, and, as a result, the variability of the harvest and food prices, and hence their availability. Uncertainty that food will be affordable causes waves of migration and political instability. To date, breeding methods can ensure a sufficient level of wheat yield in the current climatic conditions, but the climate is changing and many popular varieties may become underproductive.

Helena Kahiluoto of the Lappeenranta University of Technology and colleagues from other European universities analyzed wheat yield data from nine countries - Finland, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, the Czech Republic, France, Slovakia, Italy and Spain. The full data set consisted of almost 11 thousand numbers - the amount of wheat harvested per hectare, to which data on temperature, humidity, time and other parameters were compared. The scientists used data from 991 varieties of winter, spring and durum wheat grown between 1991 and 2014 in 636 locations in nine countries, as well as weather data from their growing areas in eight countries. At the first stage of the study, scientists chose climate change factors that have the greatest impact on crops (humidity, minimum temperatures at different times of the year, temperature changes). They then quantified the impact of climatic factors on crop yields.

The reason for the poor adaptation of plants to climate change, according to scientists, is a decrease in genetic diversity. Selection in favor of a few desired characteristics of the culture impoverishes the gene pool due to the disappearance of screened alleles. The genetic diversity of wheat began to decline after the 1990s. Researchers attribute this decline to an increase in the number of small-scale wheat producers. Increasing competition forced us to shorten the production cycle without wasting time on technological improvements.
