This amp is designed for monitoring and tuning drum simulators "silently" when the external amplifier output is turned off, as well as self-rehearsals. I used one of the inputs to control the drums directly, and the second one to control the overall overall picture of the entire ensemble of performers, for which, through the cable connecting to the main amplifier of the group, I also received the return signal from the output of the main amplifier.

Having this control makes it easier for the drummer to participate in the vocals! You can rehearse "at home" without disturbing others.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

System for detecting and neutralizing asteroids dangerous for the Earth 30.04.2022

China plans in the coming years to create a system to protect the Earth from collisions with asteroids that pose a threat to the planet. Wu Yanhua, deputy head of the China National Space Administration (CNSA), announced this.

"By the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, in 2025-2026, we will try to start testing technology for monitoring asteroids that pose a threat to the Earth. With its help, we will carry out a collision (with an asteroid), which will lead to a change in its orbit," the official said in interview with China Central Television (CCTV). According to him, within the framework of the future project, it is planned to create an effective ground-based and space-based system for cataloging, monitoring and warning about asteroids that pose a threat to the planet.

Also, Chinese experts have set the task of developing technologies that will prevent collisions with dangerous space objects. "Thanks to this, humanity will truly counter the threat that asteroids pose to the Earth," - said the deputy head of CCTV. According to NASA, there are more than 1,11 million identified asteroids in the solar system, but in fact there are many more.

Asteroid impacts are one of the most serious natural disasters, as the level of destruction they can cause is greater than any other. The damage that a collision with an asteroid can cause depends on a number of factors, especially its size. NASA experts believe that asteroids with a diameter of 140 m or more are a serious problem for the Earth.

According to research by the Davidson Institute of Science, the educational arm of the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot, Israel, an asteroid with a diameter of more than 140 meters in the event of a collision with the Earth will release at least a thousand times more energy than from the detonation of the first atomic bomb. However, even small asteroids can cause significant damage.
