If there are no free numbers on the PBX, you can install a parallel telephone. This issue is easily resolved by the communication enterprise with the consent of the main subscriber, but there is a possibility of subscribers listening to each other. This can be avoided by applying the proposed blocker. The device is made on the basis of an industrial interlock of a coupled subscriber set (SAK) ATSK 50/200, ATSK 100/2000.

Extension phone lock

The advantages of this scheme:

- the polarity of the telephone line connection does not matter;

- if one of the subscribers picked up the handset from the telephone set and started dialing, the other subscriber cannot take the line;

- the device is not afraid of overvoltage in the line (thunderstorms), as it does not contain semiconductor devices, which is especially important for rural telephone networks.

Consider the operation of the blocker in various modes.

Outgoing connection. Let subscriber 1 pick up the telephone first. A circuit is formed: terminal 3 - relay contacts K2.1 - relay coil K1 - subscriber 1 telephone - relay contacts K2.2 - terminal 4. At the same time, relay K1 is activated and disconnects subscriber 2 from the telephone line with its contacts.

When subscriber 1 dials, relay K1 does not have time to operate during the short-term opening of the loop by the impulse contact of subscriber 1's telephone. After the conversation, subscriber 1 hangs up the telephone, relay K1 releases, and the circuit returns to its original state.

The operation procedure for subscriber 2 is similar, only relay K2 is activated and disconnects subscriber 1.

Incoming connection. When a call is received from the line, relays K1 and K2 do not work, since they are shunted by capacitors C1 and C2. The bell rings in the telephone sets of both subscribers. If subscriber 1 was the first to pick up the handset of the telephone set, then relay K1 is activated and disconnects subscriber 2 from the line with its contacts. If subscriber 2 was the first to pick up the phone, relay K2 is similarly activated and disconnects subscriber 1 from the line. After the end of the conversation, when the subscriber hangs up the telephone set, the corresponding relay releases, and the circuit returns to its initial state.

Relays K1 and K2 - from the industrial blocker ATSK 50/200 (ATSK 100/2000). But these relays can be made independently, taking as a basis any type of on-load tap-changer with breaking contacts. The standard relay has 2 windings. Winding 1-2 can be short-circuited for better release deceleration.

As a housing, you can use the housing of the ATSK 50/200, ATSK 100/2000 blockers or make any other. The relay must be installed so that the plane of the relay anchors is perpendicular to the ground.

The blocker, assembled according to the proposed scheme, has been working from ATS 50/200 for almost a year, and there were no failures in operation.

Artificial leather for touch emulation 15.04.2024

In a modern technology world where distance is becoming increasingly commonplace, maintaining connection and a sense of closeness is important. Recent developments in artificial skin by German scientists from Saarland University represent a new era in virtual interactions. German researchers from Saarland University have developed ultra-thin films that can transmit the sensation of touch over a distance. This cutting-edge technology provides new opportunities for virtual communication, especially for those who find themselves far from their loved ones. The ultra-thin films developed by the researchers, just 50 micrometers thick, can be integrated into textiles and worn like a second skin. These films act as sensors that recognize tactile signals from mom or dad, and as actuators that transmit these movements to the baby. Parents' touch to the fabric activates sensors that react to pressure and deform the ultra-thin film. This ... >>

The attractiveness of caring men 14.04.2024

The stereotype that women prefer "bad boys" has long been widespread. However, recent research conducted by British scientists from Monash University offers a new perspective on this issue. They looked at how women responded to men's emotional responsibility and willingness to help others. The study's findings could change our understanding of what makes men attractive to women. A study conducted by scientists from Monash University leads to new findings about men's attractiveness to women. In the experiment, women were shown photographs of men with brief stories about their behavior in various situations, including their reaction to an encounter with a homeless person. Some of the men ignored the homeless man, while others helped him, such as buying him food. A study found that men who showed empathy and kindness were more attractive to women compared to men who showed empathy and kindness. ... >>

Health record 19.05.2010

Although this sport has not yet been officially recognized, there are amateurs competing with each other in who can last the longest without breathing and get into the Guinness Book of Records for this. The latest record, set in February 2010, belongs to the Austrian Peter Kolat: he lay face down on the surface of a swimming pool for 19 minutes and 21 seconds (19 seconds longer than the previous record holder).

How safe are these exercises? Physiologists from the University of Lund (Sweden) gathered nine trained breath-holders in the laboratory and asked them not to breathe for more than five minutes. At the same time, blood tests were done on the test subjects. It turned out that by the end of the experiment, the oxygen content in the subjects' blood fell by almost 80% - more than it happens with a stroke.

In addition, a protein appeared in the blood, which is normally contained in brain cells and is released into the blood only when these cells are damaged. The blood returned to normal only after two hours.
