ENCYCLOPEDIA OF RADIO ELECTRONICS AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING A trap for a thief. Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering Encyclopedia of radio electronics and electrical engineering / Security devices and object signaling If uninvited guests are pestering you, and you want to see them, then you can apply the proposed scheme (Fig. 1). The device is mounted in the door of a closed room, for example: basement, closet, workshop. The principle of operation is simple. When switches SA1 and SA2 are on, the trap is set to standby mode. The SA3 switch reacts to the opening of the door. If the door is opened by a person who does not know about the existence of the SA2 switches, then the electromagnet (Fig. 2) of the EM will work and block the opening of the door. At the same time, the control lamp EL1 will turn off at the entrance, which will signal the presence of a thief in the room. The lamp is outdoor lighting at night. If lighting is not required at night, the lamp is switched on in parallel with the electromagnet. In this case, the lamp will be a signal about the presence of a thief in the room. The electromagnet EM is installed on top of the door frame. In the door, opposite the tongue of the electromagnet, a hole is made. The SA2 switch is installed outside the protected premises openly or secretly, depending on the way the lamp is turned on. The second switch SA1 is installed indoors in a secret place. This switch is intended for a person who knows about the existence of a trap and accidentally fell into it. When it is turned off, the electromagnet will release the core and the door will unlock. The pushbutton switch SA3 has a fixation and works after one inclusion, like, for example, a switch from a table lamp or sconce. The switch is installed in the door frame from the side of the awnings. The neon lamp HL3 will help determine the position of the SA1 switch. With the door open, before the last person leaves the room, the neon light should glow. If this is not the case, then check the position of the SA1 switch or press the SA3 switch button and release it. After leaving the room, turn on the outdoor switch. The device is ready to work. In case of unauthorized opening and closing of the door, the electromagnet will work and the door will be blocked. As a rule, thieves close the door behind them. Instead of a neon bulb, you can put any LED by connecting a diode and a resistor with a resistance of about 200 k in series with it. It is better to power the device from a network that goes outside the protected area. It is difficult to find a factory-made electromagnet, therefore it is easier to use the MIS executive electromagnet from the automation of a gas boiler. This electromagnet is designed for continuous operation and has a core stroke of up to 30 mm. Its lack - the big sizes is compensated by reliability. It is necessary to attach a rod to the MIS core. On the door and the box where the electromagnet core passes, it is necessary to put metal plates with cutouts for the core. In this way, it was possible to catch the attacker, who had the key to the workshop and constantly robbed it. Publication: cxem.net See other articles Section Security devices and object signaling.
