Here are the recipes ink for writing on various materials.

Ink for writing on tinplate

  • Copper filings 100 g;
  • Nitric acid 100 g;
  • Water 1 l.

Ink for writing on glass

1st recipe:

  • Sernobarium salt 30 g;
  • Ammonium fluoride 10 g;
  • Sulfuric acid 50 g;
  • Chinese carcass, diluted 100 g

2st recipe:

48 g of shellac are dissolved in 3 cm90 of ethyl alcohol (with a strength of 6 °), and 72 g of borax are dissolved in 3 cm9 of water, after which both solutions are mixed, very slowly, almost dropwise, pouring one solution to another. The resulting liquid is heated, and a precipitate forms; after that, an appropriate amount of aniline dye is added.

The ink can be diluted with water to make it flow more easily from the pen.

Ink for writing on porcelain

  • Sandaraka 100 g;
  • Camphor 10 g;
  • Ether 1 kg;
  • Turpentine 100 g;
  • Lamp black 100 g.

Write with a soft brush. Store in a jar with a stopper.

Ink for Iron and Brass

  • Copper sulfate 200 g;
  • Gum Arabica 100 g;
  • Vinegar 50 g;
  • Soot 50 g;
  • Water 600 ml.

Ink for writing on skin

1st solution:

  • Ink nuts 10 g;
  • Gum Arabica 1 g;
  • Water 100 g.

2st solution:

  • Iron vitriol 1 g;
  • Gum Arabica 2 g;
  • Indigo carmine 0,5 g;
  • Water 10 g.

The place on the skin intended for the inscription (this place on the reverse side should be strongly moistened) is smeared with solution No. 1, allowed to dry, and then written with solution No. 2. Completely black writing strokes penetrate the skin well.

Ink for writing on metal

  • Rosin 20 g;
  • Wine alcohol 150 g;
  • Methylene blue 1 g;
  • Borax 35 g;
  • Water 250 g.

Borax is dissolved in water and rosin, alcohol of wine and methylene blue are mixed in, after which the ink is ready.

Ink for writing on photos

  • Potassium iodide 10 g;
  • Iodine 1 g;
  • Gum Arabica 1 g;
  • Distilled water 30 g.

Dissolve potassium iodide in water and add the remaining parts. This ink produces white lettering on dark photographs.

White ink

1st recipe:

25 wt. hours of borax and 150 wt. h. shellac is heated with 1000 wt. hours of water in a water bath with frequent shaking until completely dissolved. Then finely triturate in this solution about 10% zinc white. Shake before use.

2st recipe:

5 g of zinc oxide hydrate is dissolved in 10 g of 5% to 20% ammonia or in ammonium salts or in caustic potash liquor.

Energy from the air will recharge the smartphone 07.06.2015

New technology developed by Ohio State University researchers can extend smartphone battery life by up to 30% by extracting energy from radio waves.

When transmitting signals between mobile devices, base stations and Wi-Fi routers, a large number of waves are scattered. According to one of the authors of the development Chi-Chi Chen (Chi-Chih Chen), who specializes in the design of wireless antennas, only about 3% of radio waves reach the target. By developing a special system, engineers were able to extract energy from the remaining 97% and send it to recharge the battery of the device.

The system consists of an antenna that receives radio waves and a rectifier that converts the alternating current in the antenna into direct current needed to charge the battery. A special controller is responsible for managing the system.

The system allows you to get microwatts of energy. This is not enough to power a smartphone that consumes a thousand times more energy, but it is enough to extend the life of the gadget, Chen explained.

According to Chen, energy extraction occurs only when the smartphone is transmitting a signal. When receiving a signal, the function is disabled. The system uses the smartphone's own signal, while the quality of communication remains at a high level.

The idea of ​​converting radio signals into electricity may seem far-fetched, but the underlying principle is as old as electricity. The fact is that radio waves are actually a high-frequency form of alternating current.

The inventors patented the technology and sold the rights to use it to the American startup Nikola Labs. In early May 2015, TechCrunch Disrupt in New York demonstrated the first product based on it - a case for the iPhone 6, which includes all the necessary system components. In June 2015, the startup plans to launch fundraising for the production of cases on the Kickstarater crowdfunding website. It is expected that the cost of such an accessory will be $100. Deliveries are scheduled to begin within a 4-month period.
